I want to think that the course maker might find its way into the Academy somehow. Maybe custom tracks for the finalists to race on?

Could be interesting. And, yes, I'm VERY optimistic about this! ;)

For GT Academy, I doubt. Final event will take place on a real-world track.

But it's not impossible that the course maker will be available in the next update.

PlayStation Gran Turismo forum moderator (MasterGT) must know more than us, no ?

I could see Course Maker coming into GT6 as a part of the partnership with the FIA. PD and the FIA making a track using Course Maker to the standards of the FIA code isn't too far fetched, but isn't the most likely way we'll see it in GT.

I mean, why else have they taken this long with releasing it? :sly:

*Kaz walks on stage.*
"Hello ladies and gentlemen. What you're looking at here is the course maker. It is in beta stage currently."
*Walks off.*
Ok, maybe not that depressing but with some pyrotechnical effects, all my life by daiki kasho (of course.) some mesmerizing gameplay with the latest VGT and the GT7 announcement.

^ better.
At this point we can expect really anything from PD, remember all the secret tracks found in these past months? They demonstrated that they are really good in keeping secrets ( or not speaking about certain stuff)

I agree that it is almost impossible for PD to choose a course maker made track for GTAcademy when so many real tracks are in the game. We have Suzuka, Nurburgring, La Sartre, Fuji, Laguna, Buthurst, Monza and so on to choose from for next 2 rounds.

They have used a course maker track for GTAcademy in GT5, so it could happen.

If I recall, I think that was because there was some unfair cheating going on in their original choice so they had to change to avoid it happening again.

And not just that, but look at how they matched so far:

Round 1 at Silverstone: Original Home of GT Academy (and still is for the international finalists)
Round 2 at Brands Hatch: Round of the Blancpain Sprint series (series where GT Academy drivers have participated)

More then likely, a track from the ELMS schedule will play host to Round 3 with the Zytek (Red Bull Ring being the highest possibility since Silverstone was already used).

You mean, there'd actually be something to look at?
