I knew it! WAKE UP SHEEPLE

That's not real!

... is it?

I've been watching Tiger King. I've completely lost the ability to judge "real" & "fake". :dopey:

https://www.healthline.com/health/ozone-therapy something I ignored until yesterday. And what do you mean by non clinical amout? They are using it in medicine.

He was asking a person. In what universe can this be considered dangerous misinformation?

And so are the governors, majors, journalist, protesters... a lot of people to challenge for one advisor.

Trying to not lose focus on the major health crisis by not arguing in eternity over a stupid question said by an incompetent lay is following hyppocratic oath in my book.

Imagine if for whatever reason she would try to explain to him how things actually works and he admitted his childish behavior.. less damage.

I mean, real or not, I'm just not seeing it? What *IS* she (or the person who made this) trying to say? I guess for some of us, 1 + 1 does not necessarily equal 11.

She's trying to say that Obama created the Covid 19 pandamic by adding up all the letters in his names. And she even gets that wrong....

 Here I am actually trying to put some thought into this and figure out the correlation. Is it some wild conspiracy that I'm just not privy to? And it's the number of letters in his name??? I feel like I was just cheated out of 2 minutes.

Kinda tangentially related to this is the number of people that are dying of disease simply because they don't seek treatment out of fear of catching 'rona. Apparently lots of hospital care is down because people are dying at home.

Our hospital is typically between 95-99% capacity and now we're struggling to hit 50% capacity on any given day. Everyone that works up there currently has said it's like a ghost town when you walk through the halls. The only floor outside the ICU and infectious disease unit that are seeing any real patient flow is Labor and Delivery.

Seriously, 6+7+5=18. These people are actively showing how dumb they are in every action they take.

Talking about 11, isn't "II" (as in the second) part of Obama's name?

Seriously, 6+7+5=18. These people are actively showing how dumb they are in every action they take.

So it's either 18 or 20, counting with "II"

Here's something to make you laugh or just to get your mind off things. If anyone saw Last Week Tonight With Jon Oliver last week, there was a ridiculous evangelical preacher saying he "blows the wind of God" and destroyed the Coronavirus. So we no longer have anything to worry about. He took care of it.

It's got to the point here in the UK where politicians and health figures are repeatedly telling the public to not put off seeking treatment as the NHS can cope

Dr. Jerome Kim, the Director General of the International Vaccine Institute (IVI), for sharing his expert insight on the development of a vaccine for COVID-19.

An example for unemployment in Connecticut. I'm a sole proprietor and these benefits have never been available to me before.
I made a claim on March 26th and received a reply that my claim has been processed on April 21st.
I had to make my weekly claim Sunday. Benefits (funds) start with the date of claim and include the Fed's contribution as well.
We have not received any funds or know what those funds amount to. Still waiting on paperwork to arrive in the mail as well.

Anything the government does takes too long but at least the government is doing something helpful.

I'm not sure what the US government is doing that's helpful. All they've done thus far is conjure a bunch of money out of thin air and proceed to bail out companies that couldn't be bothered to prepare for a disaster instead of helping people. They also managed to royally screwup the economy with their magic money and that will have a long last effect on the country, long after COVID-19 fades away.

Nevermind the extra $600 people are getting is going to goof things up as well. Say you make $35,000 a year and with unemployment, you get $400 a week. Tack on the extra $600 and now you're pulling in $1,000 a week, which is going to be more than you make normally. Why would you want to go back to work after that? You probably wouldn't. Yes, I get it's there to help people out, but all it's doing to making a bunch of people reliant on magic money.

Oh, and let's not forget how the government is helping small businesses with these loans. You know small businesses like the LA Lakers, an organization worth $4.6 billion.

Trump doesn't like state bailouts

I get that some states are better run than others, and some of them more solvent than others. But right now states are getting hit with massive waves of unemployment claims due to a pandemic. This would be a time to rally rather than point fingers. This is what poor leadership looks like folks. Bailout isn't the only solution, this isn't the right response.

This is incredibly frustrating and infuriating

You can count me in that group - haven't received a dime of government assistance yet. I had to shut down my businesses too. Thankfully I'm self employed and don't have people under me who could have suffered from this, but when I think of all the other small business who didn't get anything and also had to lay off their staff (who by the way might also not have gotten anything yet), you can see why people are becoming so desperate to get working again. I'm pretty confident I won't see any government money until late May, at best.

I still haven't been stimulated yet. HBU @Joey D ?

I don't want to get bogged down in a small government vs big government debate...but damn does the US federal government seem particularly useless compared to any standard. I wonder how many agencies still run MS-DOS or like Windows 95 for essential functions. It's funny because I think it's both a result of pro-small-government interests degrading the institutional credibility of broad swaths of the federal government, and pro-big-government broadening the scope of the federal government to the point where resources are spread too thin and everything goes to hell...thus giving more credence to the former group. Congrats American people, we've comprehensively wrecked our own ****.

I've received nothing as well. I was told that you might need to file your 2019 tax returns if you owed money in 2018.

Stay classy Trump

“Why should the people and taxpayers of America be bailing out poorly run states (like Illinois, as example) and cities, in all cases Democrat run and managed, when most of the other states are not looking for bailout help?”

I guess the keywords were Democrat run. Otherwise he could've said the same about XYZ company.

When we have someone in charge that takes no responsibility for anything (except when it makes them look "good") I would expect nothing less.
