To be done in “Time Trial” mode using stock setup (if you have a saved setup for this combo, please return it to “default” before trying, as times with the “setup used” symbol will show in the in game timing screen, and won’t be counted!) You can use "loose" or "stable" setup, and driver aids if you wish! Post an in game screenshot of your time and post it here for it to count, Good luck!! ;)

This TT will end next Tuesday night, the 8th of October.

Evil track... especially the crest in the corner before Tecate Turn, easy to spin and/or lose time!

aargh I did a 26.0xx last night then the game froze up while i was trying to get a dangle pic
I had travelled 50+ yards on 2 wheels :D

Now that's life on the edge man, dangling, freezing, all in one? :P

Surprising myself, and actually enjoying Long Butch, errrr Beach!! A fun track in most of the cars, once you're in the swing of it!

Had a bit more of a run at this one last night, I've never really liked Long Beach (not a fan of street circuits in general actually) but I'm starting to find some kind of flow to the lap. Still hate that final hairpin though...

New time is a 1:23.445 - just a couple of hundredths behind @Outspacer, though I'm fairly sure he'll go faster (and we both have a fair chunk to find compared to the top time on PC)...

Oh, I'm going to have another try, you're uncomfortably close! I don't think me beating crowhop's time is on the cards though, 1:22.084 is damn quick. Is that @crowhop?
Awesome, man! 1.20.XXX's are possible, but you have to nail it perfectly. If I remember correctly, when I set my time I had been struggling with the car quite a lot, but I managed to hit it exactly right at T5 and that kinda set up the rest of the lap. This car is tricky because you have to be on throttle with the end hanging out before the apex or you're giving away time.

I set that time to see how it compared with the M1 and the new Ferrari. It's slower.

I didn't even know there was a default TT group. I'll have to bookmark this to keep an eye out for the next combo.

Sure @crowhop you're very welcome to join here with the TTs....This one finishes tomorrow night, and the next one will start early next week (I alternate between PCARS 2 and Assetto), we hope to see you then! ;)

Ah-ha, hello and welcome! Whatever the knack is with this car, you seem to have it with that lap. I've been using your ghost (mostly chasing it, lol), not merely trying to copy your lines but as a reference for pace. T1 is where I gained the first sector tenth, just a tiny bit neater on that run. But then I lost a tenth on Tecate Turn, and we have quite different lines on the next turn - which might be losing me some time along Seaside Way and overall (even though I'm quicker through the actual turn).

Do you think 1:20.xxx is possible without setup tweaks? I'm running the 'Loose' setup and find it tricky to time getting power fully on after turns... although you say get the back end out before apex which I haven't really tried yet (not intentionally, anyway). Hmm, maybe just one more go before the end...

my game keeps freezing at the end of a session. I won't be going again but will try some other combos to see if its only that one

Not happening for me tonight (as a bashful bishop possibly once said. Allegedly.)

Can't seem to string a lap together, I've been faster in every sector than my current time but never on the same lap (and even adding them together I'm only finding half a second at best). On the plus side, I actually know which way this track goes now, even I'll probably never love it...

I think some ultra alien can do things that'll make our tongues hang out. There's always more time. I hit my lap on probably the 3rd or 4th attempt, so there is more there, for sure.

I run the default Loose also.

One thing I have in my corner is I TT Long Beach a lot. I have times there in 50 different cars. It's my Default Tune TT track. Very few cars are faster with a tune than default at Long Beach, due to the nature of the track.

Are you using an H-Pattern shifter or Auto Clutch and paddles? There is a lot of time in simply having the manual transmission. Manual shifting is a lot faster. It's really an unfair advantage.

This is true. I can see where you could gain a couple of tenths fairly easily, and then it's just a few more I suppose!

It's my first time at the track and car. Lost count of how many laps I've done now, maybe 40 or 50, and only now feel I could consistently lap a 1:23 (non-hotlap pace).

T300 paddles. I have a G29 shifter (!), but I'm just not very good with the footwork. You?
