To be done in “Time Trial” mode using stock setup on "loose", "Stable" or "OEM" (If available). (if you have a saved setup for this combo, please return it to “default” before trying, as times with the “setup used” symbol will show in the in game timing screen, and won’t be counted!) You can use driver aids if you wish! Post an in game screen shot of your time and post it here for it to count, Good luck!! ;)

This TT will run until next Tuesday night, the 28th of April, good luck!

Yes Neko, I love the in car view of the 2 GT Ginettas, but the engine sounds like it's running on less cylinders than it should be! :P

Interestingly enough, the lap doesn't get invalidated if you bump the walls... :odd:

Didn't bump any walls in this run though. Still lotsa room for improvement. The rear is so slippy through Quarry.

Are you playing on PC cause for me on PS4 when i try to filter to the car im in on a specific track it still just shows the fastest car around the track and everyones time with that car... Or am i missing a feature somewhere :/

Annoyingly impressive times though Neko :bowdown:

Yeah I'm on PC. It seems there's no filter option on PS4... The "Showing...VEHICLE SELECT" option in the top right is visible on my screenshot, but not on yours. Strange. It would be assigned to the R2 button I guess, but they may have forgotten to implement that feature on PS4. :odd:

Yea must be. Too bad tho would be really nice to see a little progress when scoring new PB's :P
 
Yes fellas on console there's no option to filter cars in TT for the best times.......It's just your best time in any car in that class.....

Had a very quick go on loose with no assists...Just to see how it feels....

2:12.812....Way off the pace, will get down to some more serious running shortly. Will need to tweek the wheel a little maybe, as now it's a bit too sensitive after driving the Procar last time out.

On the filter options - apparently it's a console thing, as I understand it Sony and Microsoft have a limit on how many leaderboards a third party game can have and doing every car/circuit combo would go way over the limit.

Back on topic - looking forward to having a first run at this a bit later, I love Bathurst!
 
Well, having had a first run... Wow this car feels lazy after the M1!. Bye bye 9000rpm upshifts :(

I'm miles off at the moment, just about managed to get under 2:10 but I'm still a second off the pad record, let alone getting anywhere near a decent time. This is going to take a bit of adapting to after the BMW, hard to imagine something more different. Still, we're at Bathurst and one thing I have plenty of at the moment is time!!
 
Had a bit of a reset, and decided to try to understand the car a bit.

Lesson 1: No-traily-da-brakey! At least not in the slow corners...
Lesson 2: In the high speed stuff, it can corner a lot faster than you (or at least I!) think it can.

I'm still miles off Neko, but at least I've got target #1 sorted (pad record!), and an ok-ish time. 2:08.609 for now.

Had a good 1 hour run, 20 minutes on "loose", and then tried "stable", and stuck with it, as it suits my driving style of driving on the ragged edge. On "loose", I just end up sliding into the walls each lap on one corner or the other.

But after running now, and into more of a rhythm, I'll give loose a go later, as it's ultimately quicker I feel.

Made a couple of little mistakes on the lap as you can see in the outboard replay. but not sure where I can get another 0.6 secs from to catch Neko, I'm no GT3 expert by any means lol! :cheers: Great lap Neko! :bowdown:

Losing most of my time through The Esses, also had a 0.2s faster first sector in one of my previous attempts.

If you get the line just right, you can go through corners 5-10 flatout.

As a side note: The crunchy noise in my wheel is now minimal. 👍

Edit: lol just did a 2:05.423 on Stable

Edit: Funny you should mention the T150 wheel noise mate, mine's started doing it now again when calibrating after turning on the PS4 each time, and yeah due to the colder weather here now. ;)

Yes mate, I'm losing time in the same area, the Esses particularly.......And I'll try the 5 to 10 no lift also. Nice time mate! ;)
 
No joy on Loose last night, and even after putting it back on Stable I still couldn't find an improvement. Well - I found a bit through the last two sectors, but couldn't get close to my time in S1 🤬

Think that's me done for this one, my hands need a night off from the pad!
 
Sadly couldn't run today, as my internet has been a pig, and it kept DC'ing from TT mode.....You've got this one Neko me thinks lol! ;)

Results up in a couple of hours guys, then the new TT to follow! ;)

Damn mate....Think about buying the Season Pass, all packs for little money now.....About 50 odd cars you'll get too, more than worth it!
