What kind of tires and restrictions do you guys use? I'd love to pop in for a few races and I love racing online, but it seems every room I find, everyone is using unlimited power and racing soft tires, I usually use sports hard or soft on street cars and I always use Racing Hards on race cars,with the exception of the GT40 on Racing Mediums..

I have updated the OP today and will keep everyone updated on the upcoming enduro's.

One thing I suggest is the naming of the track(s) and any restrictions up to 2 weeks prior to the race. this will give everyone ample opportunity to tune, tweak, practice and learn the track so I think that should be an ongoing thing.

I am considering either Nurb, Spa or my own track for the first one so everyone who has not yet done so please add me on PSN and download my shared track and have a run on it because that may be the chosen field of battle

i play Aspec alot. Due to the lack of friends and many dirty racers, online just doesn't appeal to me... Bulk of the time i'll just try to shave my laptime alone in practice mode. Most of my wins are due to pure dumb luck and overpowered cars.

Well bro you are an extremely talented driver then, if you have mainly been offline and have adapted to the physics of online and can consistently do what you have been doing then you could do some real damage in the online seasonals and no doubt in one of the pro leagues too, have you tried the seasonals? Go and do the Formula Gran Turismo one, I am very interested to see how you do.

Dude that track I made and knew better than you and I had a stealth 787B breaking 400 on back straight, 35kmh faster than your regulation 787B, and I posted what I thought was a great time... then you took 9 off it then another 6 so 15 seconds all up off my best time, that wasn't luck bro, it's skill!

This sounds like an awesome idea. I've been thinking about playing GT5 online for a long time now, but I've never played any game online so I hesitated. I'm more or less free any day after 9:30 - 10:00pm EST (family duties permitting ).

Those guys are good to race man, we should all get together soon and try the track I made for the proto, it''s the perfect track for the car and an absolute blast to fly around :-)

We should probably warn folks now that some of us Aussies swear, a lot, but we do not want to make anyone feel uncomfortable with our vile vernacular so if anyone does have an issue with cursing let us know and we can tone it down. Also tell us if you have kids (or parents!) in or near the room if we are on speaker, we don't want to get anyone in trouble!

I've done it with an iPhone but I had it remote-desktoped to my laptop which in turn was connected to the PS3 holding the RR.

Alternatively you could use the B-Spec grinding widget if you have Yahoo! widgets. It takes all of the work out of RR. I just turned mine on and now I going out. It'll race the Bobs all day for me.
