Glad we could help ken. Thanks for showing us the way!
edit: By the way, what kind of weird damage system did we have on? After I crashed my truck was undriveable and horribly slow for a while (even more than usual ;-) ), but half a lap later it was completely fine again.
Current lap record for the custom Redbull track: Heathenpride - 0:56:016
Lap records will be recorded for those who like to try beat them so by all means give it a go! To qualify for a record a fellow member needs to be present
The record for the other custom track is 2:16.500 by ken - I forget the exact time but it was a 2:16 and I saw it AND he went on the grass twice so I am calling it 2:16.500 👍
This is a great thread. I am looking to find a good place to race against clean drivers. I am no the fastest but I don't suck either. I recently discovered the shuffle races, they are really good at providing close racing without having to go and spend hours tuning your car to match a race adequately. I'm in EST time (NA). Thanks for starting this!
This sounds interesting....to be honest I was just kind of scanning this thread so I'm not exactly sure whats going on but I get the general idea. I'd like to get in on this. I'm a casual gamer and I just started running online the past few weeks and I've realized there are way too many knuckleheads out there. People sailing it way too deep into turns, blocking on the first lap, running right into the back of you like you're not even there. Plus some off these guys are way too good for me. Let me know whats going on and what I need to do get involved with you guys. This thread was way too long to thoroughly read, plus my kids are running around at the moment and distracting me. I just got hit in the head with a Nerf baseball...
It will be clean, but not squeaky clean. Casual racers make mistakes and accidentally bump other drivers. The difference is we expect the driver that gets bumped to understand it is casual racing, it was an accident, and it is NOT appropriate to seek any revenge. Welcome aboard!

300 mile enduro in tank car FTW!!!
Here comes a muppet question but what PP rated cars do you guys usually race with in these rooms? Do you generally stick to one type or mix it up? This online thing is all new to me but I want to get involved.
That'll be one to try... Endurance being the operative word as well haha
Hey Baleb
Dude, we use everything and anything so whatever you have in your garage we can find a use for and we change it up all the time so we don't drive the same cars constantly...
What is your PP preference?

Oh yes, totally. What I mean by clean is not to crash into others intentionally, or hitting them out of the track in turns when it is more than clear you cannot pass, etc... Having accidental bumps and hits is part of all casual racers' life in GT5 👍
2:16:500 nice.
i managed a 2:22:xxx last night is all i could muster with racing softs on my speed8. i think a 2:24:xxx on the mazda787 is all i could do. kind of a tight track for those supercars luckily the walls keep you close to the track lol.
robertmac_33My face is melting... Indiana Jones style at the thought of that 0_o lol
