Crap gets through the swear filter and I've noted the mods use it on several occasions. It's not deemed a real profanity either as it's based on Thomas Crapper of the modern flush toilet fame. "I'm using the crapper to take a crap" I believe is how the term originated. (Not 100% historically accurate)

Trust me when I say this is the perfect track... that car MUST be used on a track suited for it unless a master is at the wheel. I can drive a few tracks with no problem but most I struggle with.
This track will be instrumental in helping you gain mastery over it

Didn't manage to join the lounge, but had a quick go online... Got slaughtered on Deep Forest 500pp race... My 1min 25 sec lap was 30 seconds too slow

Thanks for the quick bash this evening guys. I'll have to get a bit more online practice in those high powered cars so as to stop swapping ends so often. If we get a few more folk together tomorrow, it would be good to have a go at the shuffle thing.

Haven't read through all pages of this thread, but this seems to be the kind of online racing I'm looking for. I started the online thing only yesterday, and found myself alternating between races full of idiots trying to ram me and races where I was deadly afraid of being in peoples way and ruining their races with errors. It probably didn't help that the shuffle engine kept handing me uncontrolable stuff like a viper on hard sports tires.
I am a decent enough driver though, and would like to have some nice close and fun racing at a level below the crazy good pro's.
What kind of races do you guys usually run? I have quite a limited garage, mostly because I sell/delete (almost) all prize cars, as I feel they ruin the sense of accomplishment of acquiring a new car, so it would be good to know what sort of cars to have ready.
Also, what kind of times can I usually expect to find this group online? Preferrably with reference to GMT (I'm in The Netherlands).
My PSN ID is the same as my username.

from main gt5 racing page ('my life'?), go to the COMMUNITY area on the left side.
from there, you can see all your friends and who is playing with the green dot, view their stats, pics, tracks, etc...
click on them and if they are in a lounge, you will see it (some icon next to the "lounge")
