I'm game for this, I just made level 40 A/B spec. I'm ready for online which I have no experience yet. Let do this!

I too jsut hit Bspec 40, have 3 more races for Aspec (9hr & 2x24) and am lvl 35, can't wait to hit 40 on both and get these enduro's out of the way, they are beginning to taunt me lol AND the 9hr is one I need to do without saving because the glitch screwed me over so I won't be doing that again, might do it on Friday night.

I'll join this. I'm in NSW Aust. Eastern time. Usually online Friday and Saturday 3pm to midnight. I'm not the most consistent racer but am able to hold my own. Will race anything going.

OK everyone we have enough to get started. I won't be on tonight as BoB is mid 24hr 'ring so I won't be on till tomorrow night, in about 32 hours.

So far we have 15 including me who are keen so I am pretty happy with that, thanks for the interest guys I can't wait to get this going.

I will list the PSN ID's of those who have them set to public in their profiles so you can all add each other, the ones who don't just add the public ones & just put "casual gaming" in the request so they know the reason for the request. I will add everyone either tonight (if I can do it via XMB mid race, can't remember) or tomorrow night so expect a FR from me.

When you all add each other it will be easy for a room to be set up when we are not all online so it won't be necessary for all of us to be on at once.

We will definately nail down a time and a regular day to do just that though if we can all agree lol

Ok guys i reckon a race tonight is a goer! I will create a room and then post the details here so make sure you subscribe to this thread and keep an eye on it in about 8-10 hours.

if anyone has any ideas regarding the way we should do it let me know. I was thinking of a PP restriction but I am not sure how hight yet, maybe 700? That way we eliminate the Vettels and FGT's to start with... that's not to say we won't use them, just not first up.

I am also not a fan of restricting driving aids so I will be leaving them on, if people want to use them then fine but if not that's fine too... let's face it most new cars come with them anyway so it's more of a simulated experience if ya use them!

I'll have DLC too so SPA will be a must race track and you won't need to have bought DLC to use it, as long as I have it when i create room it's fine

hahahaha mate, if you did switch it on it would end up either a) in a thousand pieces on the road or, frighteningly, b) in one piece sticking out of your head with the controllers jammed in your ears!!

I might go open to start with and if it gets invaded by douchebags we can switch to private and I will post the room number either here or will send PSN PM with it... hopefully we won't need it but I won't hesitate to open a locked lounge if the C0CkH3/\D population is a factor.

I spent yesterday evening trawling through the online lobby for hours only to find nothing worth joining. It's all plebs drag racing X2010s or people kicking me for not being known to them. It's a F'ing nightmare in there sometimes.

It is man & often when ya do get in a room ya drive a bit too conservatively due to fear of being booted for hitting another car or for other (valid for the pro's) reasons.

This group will have a focus on improving driving & trying to race clean & fair but without anyone getting booted for not doing so... unless its constant deliberate ramming etc, that won't be tolerated but I don't think that's going to be a problem

Couldn't agree more mate, driving alone online can be tiresome... that's what offline is for!

As for realism: we will have that too but in varying degrees... some races will have ultra realism with damage & no aids but some will have all aids on no dam then can change it up again so it won't be the same every race it will change up to keep it lively & fun... I'd love to do a 3 lap nürbürgring race with the '44 kubelwagen or whatever it's called with full damage, that would be awesome lol

You're a lucky man, my ex wife was so bad I couldn't even have a PS2 for fear of her throwing it so when I ditched the mad cow I got PS3 and now my GF has no issues, except the odd comment about marrying "my fat black girlfriend*" LMAO!!

Yep that's the one... what time you be on you think? I am usually up late despite having to work, I am usually offline by 1:30am though but that's at latest. If racing me at that time and I go veering off course you know that I have nodded off at the wheel, not as uncommon a sight as I would prefer
