OK so the first day was a mixed bag to say the least... Started off with a couple guys and we had a close 5 lap race on SPA and all was good...until Team Douchebag were seemingly approved for racing.
We had a healthy full room but some impatient guys (despite it being obvious it was a casual room) got all grumpy over race delays because I was helping new guys with info and car choice, seriously guys if you can't spend 10-15 minutes for the new guys to get informed then you really have problems... Not everyone is a lvl 40/40 so grow up and have some patience or leave the room.
The 2nd race was OK but as penalties were off there were some that exploited it so that was disappointing BUT the overall experience was positive.
Will perhaps need to lock the room though, a few too too many wankers IMO but that didn't ruin it for everyone thankfully.
Keep coming back guys and welcome to a couple new guys, I will send them the PSN ID's of the rest of us and they can add you all.
Some guys could not locate my room with the number; I will create a seperate thread asking Q's on this now.
AND we now have a name.... CORE: Casual Online Racing Enthusiasts - Keep an eye out for "CORE" in the rooms and you will know it is us!

an epic 'ring battle with GT-R stealths just unfolded! Sincere apologies to nosoks & co for my abrupt exit caused by grumpy GF who, whilst normally a million% awesome, was unimpressed with my 2am chatter & noisy wheel shenanigans so immediate race egress required... spewin I couldn't finish the race :-(
I'll be back on in maybe 20-22 hours!!

So it transpires that I'll not be at work today therefore will be able to race some of you northern hemisphere-ers!

I'm also keen. I just don't have the time to set up and tune my cars for hours on end so spend what little time I have just driving! I tend to stay out of the online rooms for the same reasons as everyone else on here - to scared of stuffing other peoples races up! I'm based in NZ and nights are pretty much the only times I'm on (after the kids go to bed and the wife lets me have the TV!). My PSN name is Bale26.

Even though I had some connection issues and had to leave early, and a coupleof guys were cutting corners, this was a great room. Close battles in the Stealths and Ferraris galore. I'm definitely down to do this again, and this race was at a perfect time for me haha. Cheers to all who are still in it.. darn connection problems.

I think CORE is very suitable though....To be honest my missus doesn't mind my doing a bit of GT. Last night I went out and smashed in a bar, I'm sure she's have rather had me at home than drunk with my pals.
Would love to have been in on the Stealth race. I've not given that car much attention for the last few months.
On a separate note, are you guys using mics? I haven't got round to getting one yet so do most of my communication on the controller.

Hahah yes both titles work! Some use mic's some don't mate I am not fussed but I hate typing on PS3 so I talk, you are more than welcome to type your replies tho!!
