Yes it was an excellent day/night! Last night was good also, we ran a nürbürgring 3 lap race at midnight with 100% rain, it was an epic race!!
We been getting a few different folks which is good & they're all getting to know each other etc so it will pick up!
Special thanks to nosoks & the Canadian & USA crew for making me feel welcome & helping with my technique with tips & tunes, you guys are awesome thanks, will do it all again soon

Good time last night racing everyone there. Sorry for my abrupt departure, something was wonky and the ps3 kept freezing and needing a hard reboot, got frustrating so I called it quits. It was probably just a bit warm though since I had it on for quite some time. I may be back again tonight but I'll definitely be in there often. Aside from a couple people who were... not quite playing within the rules everyone was great and they were dealt with quickly.
(Also I retire from ever racing the Nürburgring, at night, in the rain with a car that has more than 200 hp. Never again, hahaha
)
I'm in the eastern time zone too. Last night i think it was around 9ish when I got there and not long after that there were a good amount in the room. So it's definitely do able. Heathen is an beast, I'm still trying to figure out how he manages to get online as often as he does.

HAHAHA well for starters since discovering GTP I have it up at work and on my phone AND pc which is next to PS3 so i got that sheet covered plus I stay up way too late to play instead of going to bed, it's hard but worth every second!
hahaha I have been neglecting my GF lately though, may need to invest in roses

Yeah I know I need more practice at that course in general, but it was dumb on my part to think I would be able to even think of staying on the track in the rain at night with a 600+ hp lambo. Just a situation of too much car and not enough driver for that track in those conditions. The rest was a blast though, and even that was fun for the most part, I just turned it into a game of can I count down from 10 and still be on the track at the end of the countdown.

I got there late tonight but all the races were good. I even nearly won once.

@tris_73, I think there was some kind of error because I couldn't see you on screen but could see that you were there, just not the car. How strange.

I had thought this many times, what has stopped me is it seems to attract the target audience: casual racers who prob won't be looking in the series section.
Does that make sense?
It will end up there I'm certain of that but I was hoping it could stay here at least for now in order to maintain a high visibility to the target audience.

haven't been online at all... im like most of you guys, i work crazy nightshift hours (48hrs a week) have a wife and young child, so only get a few hours here and there.
Im competent enough (should be ive been playing GT since '98), although tend not to mess about too much with the tuning side of thigs... have a vaired garage. Just got back into GT after a 10 month break lol so many changes

Yeah it is really picking up. Best thing is too that there's enough of us to host lounges instead of public rooms... there are some right wankers in some public rooms.
Once we have a few more and everyone has "friended" everyone then we can start thinking of a league or even just a weekly muck around with 16 of us, that would be awesome lol
