Just wanted to thank JT, and Ben for running my BoBs today. I'm returning the favor right now. Also threw some BoBs from Heathen, Tris, Ken, and smyth in as well. Heated battle at the front between myself, tris, and ken's drivers at Suzuka. Sorry Heathen, Glockner is pulling up the rear by a mile...lol. It's all good though. Had a good time racing smyth at Sarthe earlier, in the rain. Got slick there at the end but I managed to stay on track. I'll be on for the good majority of the night tonight...let me know if there are any races going on. Take it easy guys, and I have to say....this is the coolest club I've ever been a part of....

I will race you Ken, I will need to use another profile though as I have an enduro running on HP one. Please send a FR to Mjolnir_666 (I think that is the one) and we will go from there. I only have stealth cars & chromelines on it though, have not bought anything yet.

Of course I can use a stealth 787b toned down, should be fine as it is stock and let's face it I will need it

ENDURANCE RACE TRACKS - POLL RESULTS CONFIRMED:

All, Please refer below for the tracks to be raced as per the recent C.R.A.P Endurance Race Poll. They are in order but the finer details have yet to be fleshed out, laps etc.

1- Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
2- Nürburgring 24h
3- Suzuka Circuit
4- Trial Mountain
5- Circuit de la Sarthe 2005 No Chicane
6- Laguna Seca Raceway
7- Côte d’Azur

Please note that the very first race will be held this coming Sunday on my Oaklands Park track at 8am Aus Central Daylight Saving Time and will be a race over 50 laps with a horsepower limitation of 550BHP. All aids will be on (SRF off if all racers agree) and beginners and veterans alike are welcome.

Make sure you download this track from my GT5 profile and practice it.

Please PM me with your intention to participate by no later that 23:59 ACDST this Friday night. You must register your intent to enter as it helps me organise it, please don't just rock up and expect to race because I may just tell you to naff off!

All details will be sent to participants via PM after the cutoff.

Prizes awarded to 6th (out of 12) place. I might have an issue sending the 3rd prize of a 1967 birthday ticket (daily limit exceeded despite not sending anything) but if I cannot send I will accord 3rd place a most suitable automobile from my garage.

what the....??!!! sheesh.... guess i'll have to utilise my US account and join the race undetected...

i will list out some points to note for everyone's benefit:

1) room and chat quality should be set to 'standard'. (host)
2) allow sufficient gap from passing cars during qualifying before moving out of the pit.
3) lapped cars will become 'ghost' automatically.
4) 50 laps around Heathen's track will take about 2 hours.

lastly, as i had mentioned this before and will remind again, do not teleport back to pit by using the exit button or leave the track for further tuning during qualifying as the system will erase said driver's qualifying laptime. if a change of fresh tires is needed during qualifying, drive your way back to the pit in order to preserve your laptime.

i'm not the organiser nor the group's founder, just an ordinary CRAP member and GT5 lover but i really hope and advise all participants to finish the entire race by not quitting halfway in jest. i've met alot of folks like this and it killed the race for the remaining players...

On another note I have had a comment that this whole casual thing may be getting a bit too "pro" so please let me know if you think the same. A PM or a comment in race or via PSN is fine and I won't repeat it. Thing is I have not done this type of thing before so i am inevitably going to come across hurdles or I will do something wrong. The important thing is to learn and move on which I am happy to do so please let me know if you feel the same about it moving in the direction that we do not want it to go.

first race, i let it slide although i know that it's intentional.
2nd race, it happened again. this time i know for sure he's out to play punk.
i'll see what happens when we meet for the third race.

pro races will have the damage and penalty set to maximum and tires to nothing more than sports soft with assists all off.

of course, heathen will have the final say over such matters.

Hey there,the 'official' CRAP rooms are all hosted by our host (Mr Pride) which you can find listed in the OP - send a FR to those and they'll be accepted within a day.

As far as I'm aware there's nothing stopping you setting up your own though - just stay true to the ethos was the consensus I think.

CRAP_Races_2 - Second casual racing ID

CRAP_Free_Run - As name suggests this is for free runs NOT races. Extensive tuning and practice only.

CRAP_Enduro_1 - Main race lounge only to be used on race days and only for the race and qualifying.

CRAP_Enduro_2 - Main race lounge only to be used on race days and only for the race and qualifying.

Anyway, as no one is around I'm off to shoot complex moving pixels patterns, so there.
