I have an idea if everyone agrees with it.

Instead of just doing resets why don't we keep documenting our times with each tune so everyone can advance the time each adjustment is made.

This way nobody is going to get behind and hearing "How did you do that time and what's the setup for it?"

Just figured I can help out instead of seeing not much improvment to the Tuning section.

Also keep updating on here per tune if you adjust it. This way everyone keeps track and doesn't lose time or track values.

@Carnby7 i get what your saying, but that way would be too confusing and time consuming for me to keep track of. The qualifying event is supposed to be fun, and non stressful. I understand what you are saying, but i want the TT event to be as level as possible, so stock tune is the way to go. :)

I actually trust everyone enough to believe them if they say they set their time using a stock tune. If people want to cheat that's up to them, I don't care.

@ty2 and the rest of the guys, you didn't have to admit you were using a tuned setup, you all could have kept quiet and nobody would have known any different.

Also, anyone setting a time using a tuned setup would get found out during the race. I think I could knock at least half a second off my time just by playing with the downforce and gear ratios, but what's the point? In the race I'd be slow and not used to the way the car handles stock.

Well said Spooky, although the race will be stock setup, so to me it's better to qualify with stock tune, as that way you are more prepared in terms of how the car handles etc etc.

Good one admoo, time updated for you babe! ;)

As of 10pm Thursday I'm off work for 11 days so I'll host 3, maybe 4 sessions -

Thursday 24th March 11pm - Graveyard Session - (yes this will definitely happen this time)
KTM X-Bow R (@ Bannochbrae) - 15min qualifying - 6 laps
2016 Ford Fusion ( @ Zhuhai) - 10min qualifying 12 laps

Monday 28th March 8pm - CRAP Power Hour -
Lotus '72 ( @ Ruapuna)

Wednesday 30th March 7pm -Some sort of of mini championship - (open to suggestions)

Maybe another graveyard session 31/5 11pm depending how the first one goes.

Wise words.

Spooky I'll update the first post re the Graveyard Shifts. I probably won't be able to make this Thursday

I was thinking of a hour race at the 24h layout the first wednesday when the dlc hits,... i was thinking aston lmp1,...
or do some people have a better suggestion?!

Just some ideas

How about the new Zonda Revolution at the 24hr? it's been put in the GT1X class with the Zonda R so is close as it can be too a race car without being an actual "race car" (It's not within any series rules).

Or multiple shorter races at the 24hr layout in all new cars (and some old ones)

Or what you said ;)

I was thinking about that Zonda (the fastest one) , but not everybody likes the nords (no idea why:banghead:) or the gt1x class, but almost everybody loves that aston :dopey:

and wednesday looks better because the tuesday when it gets out, we drive the new cars on different tracks.

I think even 25% of the crappers do not really like the track, but when it is a car people like it should be a full lobby with our fantastic crew :dunce:

but if there are more suggestions i could change it,.... just mention it in this thread :gtpflag:

Another post from SMS social manager (party organiser?) Joseph Barron. If people can help with posting disconnect messages from this weekend. Even though Sony have identified a problem SMS are still furthering their investigations to see if there is anything their end too. Every little bit will help.

I'm not sure the dlc will be out by then Spooky. However we should always double check that someone hasn't already planned a slot.

Edit: We passed each other in the ether there.

Just go with what you want to do styles. I was just thinking out loud (but you did ask). I think most of the time we should just go with what the race organiser wants to race as they're the one going to the effort of organising something. Otherwise the more out there combinations and challenges don't get raced. You can't always go with the flow.

Personally I love the Paganis. The Zondas were some of my favourite cars to drive in GT5. Looking forward to the race(ish) version. I'm biased because a road version was the source of my first and only victory in a monthly CRAP Endurance Race.

The Nurb 24h track has a long history in CRAP. It was the scene of the GTPlanet and previous organiser 24hr online Endurance Race. In one race CRAP had 3 car entrants of 3 drivers taking turns /sleeping. One car at one house in the UK, one in America and one in Australia. Some members travelled hundreds of miles to meet up. CRAP members have won it twice and I think had at least one 2nd place over the last 5 years. They've also made some life long friends.

I must admit though like many of us here I used to dread races we did on the track in Gran Turismo but somehow eventually I've fallen in love with it in Project Cars. Probably because crashing is more fun and realistic feeling in Project Cars (I'll never learn the track fully but at least I can understand why I crash in this game).

Seriously it's taken a long time to like it and countless miserable laps in Gran Turismo. I think it changed a couple of laps following @Football67611 around in the Yellowbird and after the evening Zakspeed put together last year in the Group 5 Capri. Maybe the more mental car the better? Anyway sorry for reminisce.

we are a happy group mate ;)
we can do yours and mine later,..

in the last few days we were telling each other that we do not have a lot organized races anymore (weekdays),..
and now we are in each other way

I am thinking on running a series of my own sometime down the road. But currently I'm just wanting people to get used to me and enjoy trying to kick my behind on the track.

And I don't know why, but I like @HammyMansell a little to much. Probably because he seems to be like my previous rivals that I used to race against. (Now they're either to busy to race, split up a long time ago or they're to advanced to compete against anymore)

So he kind of fits my competitive level and is very laid back when I race against him. Mostly because I know I can take him on and vice versa. But of course we got our limits and those days where you feel like you're not doing good enough.

Ok, now that I got that rant out of the way. I am going to run a series for the American CRAPers since they sometimes cannot participate in the top league euro drivers events. (Really sucks because you guys do some amazing events)
I focus mainly on mix class racing. Basically Le Mans racing.

If any of you Euro's want to participate in a good time frame it's up to you guys. I run EST so it's actually a lot easier on everyone.
