Just got back into project cars again after not playing for months, and this looks like a good place to get involved in some good online racing. Speaking of which, how do I get involved? Do I need to sign up for anything?

You're in. Set watch thread to on for this thread (up top).

I'll also add you to our Race chat group MrMatt. It can generate a few messages during some races but it's worth staying in for casual races as well as preplanned events. Anyone else who wants adding needs to ask. Once you delete a psn message thread you remove yourself from receiving any more from that group.

Cheers
JSB

PS

Message to all. have sustained an arm injury today while demolishing my shed that "might" stop me playing for a bit. I haven't tested it yet. Can anyone potentially host either of the endurance races this weekend if I can't make it? They're from 2:45pm and 10:45pm UK time this Saturday.

Sorry to hear that John, I meant to ask you to adjust the tag of the thread as the race planned is for tomorrow and not Saturday as advertised. I can help with the endurance hosting on Saturday evening if you'd like :)

Get well soon John!!!

I go through slumps all the time! Always a great group, the chat with @ty2 and @Daniel Sharp had me crying, I was laughing so hard. Really enjoyed some close racing, loved the new GTE at Donington. @Bjorn Lucas thanks for the share button help.

Hanging with the U.K. Guys, they have taught me some great new words.

Bollux Football!!! (It's not spelt that way!!!) :P

TIME PENALTIES!
Morning all, do you think turning off penalties might be a good idea?
Most ( if not all ) on here try to race as cleanly as possible and sometimes it seems very unfair to get a time penalty, especially when going off track to avoid a collision. It can also ruin any close battles going on.
Just a thought.
P.s. cadwell is a blast, I must race there more.

I have turned penalties off for some races I organise as I trust our members to know what is expected and sort themselves out. However I'm happy to leave it up to each room host to go with their preferences based on the tracks they are using. Generally they have improved hugely since release. Typically a 5 second throttle off penalty only costs about 2 seconds.
