Yep, good race, liked the car. I Tried a different strategy (it wasn't working anyway), but hit a politergeist on lap 19 that stopped me dead on the start finish straight and filled my tank to the brim. Thanks ghosty. Yido also hit one that ended his race for him. Ace (@ty2) and @Kkj10 got a disconnect too. Funny old game this Project CARS malarky.

- Alien Race -The Sequel- Thursday 22nd CRAPtober at 9pm BST!

25 lap race at Bathurst in the Group 5 Zakspeed Capri with the legend himself, Zakspeed joining us once again!!! :bowdown:

Please join the race for what will be a great event at Mount Panorama!!!

Qualifying: 30 minutes
Warmup: 5 minutes
Race time: 2pm
Driver aids: On
Weather: Light cloud
Pitstops maybe necessary due to length of race, although if you look after those tyres....

Changes can be made if required!!

Anyone that wants to take part, please let me know here in the thread or via PM, all welcome!!! Cheers! ;)

I'm really sorry I couldn't make either race yesterday. I hope to be back in action soon (at least on DS4) I can't even lift my wheel stand at the moment.

Was anyone able to get any result screens from the enduros yesterday so I can update the archive in the enduro thread?

I heard you on the chat saying you were planning to go the full race without stopping. I already had that idea and brimmed the tank (100ltrs) and put the hards on. Was just past the half way mark (about lap 18) when the game crashed completely. Still had 56ltrs and the tyre wear was just about half way down on the front right. I reckon I could of made it 👍 Was in 3rd place when the disconnect happened as can't remember who (sorry) had just made his pitstop.
 
So do you think DCs happen more in longer races, or is it just random? aslo i was told by someone that tyre wear was the cause of a lot of the bugs, this guy runs in a league with it off to reduce bugs says it seems to work, this was before the last update, anyone else found that?

Regarding @Elitekilla29 's idea, could we have default setups as standard Zak? Maybe just aero and gear ratio changes?

I would always avoid default races as steering lock and ffb setting are to bad for me on a wheel, i could always post a tune for the race if people need one 👍

I didn't take screens John I think 6 finished both races though.

This looks awesome Spooky. I hope I can make some of it (arm improving). It could be an all nighter (all races in one night right?) I will however get my excuses in early. We are also looking after 2 nephews that night along with our children. They'd just better all sleep!
 
I have a request. Can a few people (well, as many as possible) do a hot lap around Donington National in the Ginetta Junior and the Ginetta G55 GT3 please? Don't spend too much time on it tuning wise and don't take it too seriously, I just need a few rough times so I can work out an average for something I'm planning. I'm not quick or consistent enough to be able to use my times as a base.

Here is the video from the zolder (I hope i spelled that right) race. The 1st race of the 3 race series that @admoo hosted the other day. Like i said i only saved 2 of the 3 races that we did that day. Gonna upload the other one soon. Hope you guys enjoy:) I know that i didn't show off everyone in the race but that's because the battle for the lead was kinda intense for majority of the race, especially at the end.
