Demon,

This is so that 2 people can qualify for the next race on the 27th February, using the car/track combo from the previous race. As this is the 1st time, the 2 lowest classified CRAPpers from the Donington race, @Football67611 and @DIOGOPINTO121 can try and qualify too if they would like to, but from next month all people qualifying will not include the 2 lowest finishing drivers from the previous race (I hope that's not confusing lol).

Whatever NXTGEN use for their combo, we will use for the next qualifying round, for the race next month, in March etc etc.

To confirm, the 6 drivers already qualified for the February race are:

REMEMBER CRAPPERS, please use TIME TRIAL for this qualifying event, as that way temperature and weather conditions are the same for all! Post a screenshot of your best TT time from the in game timing screen here please, thanks a lot!

Remember, if you want to use your own setups, you can. Good luck everyone that takes part! 👍

Have you defined how these times need to be made? Time trial should be the best. In future maybe just accept screenshots from the in game pause menu of time trials Then everyone has the same temperatures and weather. Don't worry about this one.

My possible best is with current best sectors according to the app 1.05.065 almost there

The 1st race we did last weekend @admoo, we used default setups, but from now on, we will use our own setups in the monthly races. I got a 1:05.0 in the race, so yeah good pace from you mate! Keep trying! ;)

Hi guys.

This is just a new thread to disscus the mini series which should be happening once a month between crap and nxt gen racers.

Its a friendly series which we will take in turns to decide the tack car combo

8 racers from each group.
There will be a rotation of drivers so everyone can play. This will be done by the slowest 2 from each group being changed to allow space for more to join.

The first race has been choosen by the CRAP group and is set to be at Donnington National.
With NXT GEN to choose the next race once this is complete.

The races shall take place on the last saturaday of each month

Assists :

Abs- Always.

Stability control- To be decided by the team choosing

Traction control- To be decided by the team choosing

Yes of course mate. I know you've started time trials at Donington but is it worth having the qualifying in the car/Circuit that will be used? It's probably good for practice. Can Zak put a tune for CRAP together (or even race)?

there's no point doing a tune mate we will be having default setups. im up for a practice.

Sure JSB, it's just i agreed with the NXTGEN guys that we wouldn't practice on this month's combo ( i trust them to keep their word too :lol::lol:) until the week before the next race. And also, as the Astons at Donington is a CRAP favourite i thought it would be a good place to have the innaugral qualy session, and of course, we were only informed of their combo a few days ago, long after i started the qualy event. 👍

I would love to ask Zak for a tune for the Rookie, but sadly NXT GEN have decided stock setup! :mad: Haha!

Sorry missed that bit.

I'm going to have a go in it anyway along with my pedestrian (slow) V8 at Donington time.

Before that I'm going to try Driveclub which has sneaked in a hardcore/realistic handling option. Will report back.

It's much better. Not up to Project Cars (or even Gran Turismo/Forza standard in terms of feedback or physics but it's OK for what it is. Tried the Audi A1, a Lotus Evero and a Chevvy Camaro.

New Scottish track which is OK. Honestly though, so much is made of Driveclub's graphics but Project Cars' Bannochbrae is 100 times better. 60fps wins vs 30fps EVERY time.

Yes JSB, it's something i've noticed in the pre-release videos of Assetto Corsa on YT, the game "moves" slowly in terms of fps, Pcars zooms along in comparison.

I've just seen an Assetto Corsa video. There's no rain and or weather transitions in the game which is a shame. I don't think there are day to night transitions either.

Spa looked a bit lower grade graphically. Still perfectly good though. The ffb controls look a lot easier to understand.

AC is targeting 60fps though so like Project Cars it will look great regardless of visual detail.
