Are you doing it in practice mode with the correct weather and date or using time trial? Or have you done some practice races already?

Some have done a couple of practice races JSB, and solo practicing too. I asked on Monday about the race conditions so i believe the CRAPpers have been using the correct conditions. We will have a couple of practice races over the next few days too to sharpen up more and more.

We have been using the online multiplayer with the same settings as the race.

were really gonna have to be careful though because once you touch in these cars thats gameover no saving them spins

Got a 48.720 in free practice and that was with a full fuel load and no assists so 47 second lap look likely.

Good @Mrlaney32, just remember to use in game settings of heavy cloud at 10am, and create yourself an online lobby to practice alone and that way conditions will be identical to race. Stock fuel will be used also (1.0 ltrs).

Just had a go and:

Equalled the world best time give or take a thousanth, maybe another tenth or 2 possible, but no more. We should be on their pace though!

we have fuel switched on though, if we switch it off it might be different!

Yes Dan i had it switched on and of course then you can adjust it, but turned fuel use off and went to 1.0ltr. A bit confusing but that's Pcars!!

Haha no idea ace! I had 1.0l in the online practice session that i setup myself, a bit strange that! Although maybe i had fuel use off from a previous online session and forgot to turn it on, that's why it was at 1.0 little litre. Lol!

I like the mud collectors at the front. Were they (the headlight bays) blanked off? Otherwise I could see a bit of extra weight in the front at the end of each race.

Yeah mate they where blanked off to stop any mud collecting.
