Crash Simulation in Vision GT

I can't remember the last time I saw somebody get penalized in a race that wasnt indy-type cars or NASCAR, so why is everybody so intent on penalties? usually, both cars are eliminated anyway, or there just isnt a penalty given, at least from what I see

yeah but IRL people do not find it fun or amuzing to crash into other cars just for the heck of it. Games are different, and such, need different rules.

theres plenty of rules regarding collisions irl, I've seen drives black flagged, given stop go penalties, have their win or points taken away from them and more in many different motorsports.

Damage is teh last thing i want to see in GT5.

damage would be the only thing I would want extra in GT5!!!

.... if there isn't damage then I would really be tempted to not buy the game... and I am as hardcore a fan as most here.....Its a natural progression of the series which has to happen!
