I’ve been grinding Le Mans in RedBull Jnr and Aston Martin VGT so far. Decided to try this, so got the Tomahawk (which I’d need to get anyway for some of the speed trophies), used the vid in #14 to tune (was pretty easy) and then took ~22 mins to win in Tokyo. Took me a few laps and many penalties to get into the flow, just kept in in 6th. So with a bit more practice I should be able to get it down to ~20. Let the further/faster grinding commence!

100% not working. Ive tried it for an hour. Racing hards, manual trans, gears identical, power limit at 70%, restrictor at 70%, ballast at 200, still cant get below 1100pp. If i max out all the gears with a top speed of like 50mph im still at like 700pp.

Unless im doing something wrong thats some secrete no one is mentioning it not even close to working.

Your 4th gear ratio is wrong.

With the tune (from post no. 14), I tried Sardegna too. What's surprising is I had to refuel inspite of mainly using 6th & 7th gears. Even the tire wear was comparatively more which is weird as RH tires are wearing more than when using the same tires at Tokyo in partly wet conditions.

But overall, I prefer the Tokyo circuit because of the flow & inspite of the semi wet conditions, I enjoy it more than Sardegna which won't ace there again with this car.
Well the Sardegna(along with other GT Sports original tracks)is simply not good. I prefer Tokyo since it's quicker to finish so I can have another round with it right after.

If anyone is still having PP issues, run mismatch tires between Front & Rear... SH(f) RS(r) worked for me.
Down to 18:55s per run w/o penalties; 6 lean, doing oil changes every 3rd race.

Gut they're gonna patch this so hard... payouts over $5k will be changed to Roulette Tickets :(😭

You don't have fully customizable racing transmission. @moparmanmike

Also top speed 590 and fully customizable LSD (not sure if this matters but it was like that on the video).

For the build you're trying to do (the first one) you need to set ballast to 0.
On your sheet it's on 200 👍

(EDIT: there has been far much faster builds since this one)

It appears this has been fixed in 1.12? I have the EXACT setting as per screenshots and can't get pp below 1252.10
I can confirm that I was making a mistake. The PP does not actually reduce to 595 UNTIL you are on the map putting the tyres on. If you are in your garage stuck on 1200 odd PP. Do not worry. Go to the event and put on the RH tyres, it will recalculate to 595 on the track.

Alright so i tried the 600 km/h tune and it's crazy! I've pretty much mastered the 1300hp build and got bored of it. It looks like I'll have to 'learn' this new build because it's too quick! Taking turns on full throttle with fuel map 1 seems impossible. However, it's a good challenge and I'm pretty sure that I'll be looking at sub 15-minute laps soon!

I think this build is pretty good with a wheel but difficult with controller. Anyway you have to master again all the breaking points and else as it's totally different than the 1300hp build ^^

I think it's good if you want to make fast lap times, but it's really bad in the first few laps and you lose a lot of time. You can go under 15 minutes I think, but you can make better with the stickyBOMB v2 build using intermediate and racing medium tires, even with one pit stop.

I changed a bit the stickyBOMB build to have more speed (610km/h in straights) and to be able to do the full race in fuel map 1. Made a 15:01.410 but it can clearly get under 14:30 with a little practice. It's uploading on yt right now, I'll post it here later if you want to check 👍

Sure! Yes i will definitely need to learn again how to push the limits. I personally prefer not doing the pit methods for some reason( maybe because i don't like stopping). I'm using a controller so yeah got a long way before i master it. Have done 3 races till now and my best lap has been 1:06. However, the amount of penalties that I've been getting is insane!

At one point i was able to the 1300hp build with zero crashes and penalties but i guess it's going to be very difficult to do this one without any penalties. Infact the car spun out on the straight in the first lap itself when i used DRS. Will look out for your video to get a better idea 👍🏻

Looking at his settings I think he's trying to do the first build.
That set up is an upgrade on the original if you do the first page set up then alter it to that one it will work. Its a way better set up than the first. Very fast but if you’ve got the hang of the slower version you’ll pick it up. 330 mph in the tunnel is hilarious.

I made my best lap so far with this build (1:05.140) and the new build I'm uploading right now doesn't seem to compete. But in the long run the later is clearly a good choice and may be easier to handle on controller. Just on the first lap I got 20 seconds faster so even if I don't like pitting too it really works fine here ^^

Depending if you want fast laps or fast race you can consider both. With the one you're using right now, if you manage to do a hot lap in the 11th or 12th lap, you may go under 1:03. But even without penalty my best race time is worst than on the new one with penalties 😅

Yesterday clocked 800 kms worth of mileage in the Tomahawk. My highest daily workout score.

If PD do come out to patch this, I'm not expecting it before Wednesday, their favorite day of the week to release updates.

You can also do Circuit de la Sarthe World Touring car 700 for 825,000. The track is way easier.
With the Tomahawk, I tried some other World Touring races at Daytona, Dragon Trail, Sardegna etc. Apart from paying lesser than the Tokyo race, the other tracks for World Touring race (apart from Sardegna) are less forgiving when it comes to clean race bonus. The Tokyo track is by far the most enjoyable with this car. Will try La Sarthe even.

For starters I'd like to say this car literally runs on rails. Sometimes we may make a real fast turn which would seem the car will spin out but it also finds instant grip if trying to countersteer.

I keep the car on 7th gear most of the time with the engine map at 4. When overtaking the AI, I go to 5th gear to get rid of them as soon as possible.

To get the best out of this race, its either You run on 5th gear with a higher engine map (3 or above) or run with a higher gear at a lower engine map (1 or 2). Don't know what most of the Mates here do?

Apart from the PP glitch, there seems to be a glitch with the CRB & tire wear too. The RH tires barely wear out inspite of the heavy turns in the mid lap region.

I target around 18 minutes to complete the race as I'm no hurry to go faster. I rather go a little slower than carry a heap of time penalties or take a chance in losing the CRB.

Anyone must've noticed the 1st lap on the RH tires is a little tricky. I mostly always overcut the hairpin before the long straight on the 1st lap. I run with TC set to 2 so the car still slides there on the 1st lap. 2nd lap onwards its OK & I take that turn anywhere from 5th to 7th gear for more stability.

The best thing about this race is it doesn't tire You at all. It's a fun track with an amazingly fast & grippy car. The payout makes it worth.

In the first few laps, I just love the splashing of the puddles with the splosh sound as well. This is 1 race which I won't forget in a hurry.

Hmm I'm unable toxget this to work, just gave me a pp error :(

Edit got it after getting the ballast didn't know what was needed. This is still working as of April 18th 1:00 a.m. Eastern

Adding intermediate tiers reach 2586 BHP. What would be maximum speed ? 🤔 ... my q is can you do 600 KM settings with intermediate tiers (good for first 2 laps too). Tried, cant do myself.
On this build, which is an alternative version of the one made by stickyBOMB, it works perfectly and can go at 610km/h in the main straight 👍

You start the race with intermediate then change to racing medium after the 5th or 6th turn. Finally got under 15 minutes with this build!

Running it rich I get it to 589kph/366 mph. I usually run it lean so I don't have to refuel/ gives me a lil more time to react when lapping traffic2 but yes it will do it.im unsure what you mean by the first 2 laps thing I've done like 8 or 9 on the inters

What lap times do you get on inters?

This is the best I’ve managed on RH, but I’m sure there’s still another second or two to get out of it 🤔

Just a curious question to all............

On 7th gear & engine map on 4 most of the times, I generally lap the cars 4 times.

What's the most anyone has lapped the AI cars?
