The Audi e-tron can just make the distance for a tight win.
On Tokyo the problem for most EVs is the lack of tuning options and inability to change the gearing

Interesting you should say this. One day I had a pleasant experience with the AI, and I thought it had been fixed. A few other people shared a similar experience but most people saw no improvement. I experimented further and I think the overall evaluation is that the AI decision making is just slow or poor, or slow AND poor. Clearly there is code to ensure that the AI makes mistakes, but how often? Also the AI behaviour seems also to vary depending on the car that YOU are in. I think this is because they are "expecting" you to have similar car characteristics as they do, and can't predict a different driving style for you, for example in the case of an EV, Tomahawk or the Rottuccino, which all drive very different to the AI cars
It just seems like they were hellbent to pass before T1 and make it stick. Usually, they brake a bit early. The Track is still a bit damp. They pull up early, but the Taycan was fine on the SH tyres. I was braking later and they still tried to go deeper than me.

It's weird your 2:05 doesn't count as fastest lap because of the pitstop, lol. I just made some math with 2:10 laps and 5 stops 24s each, which would be 28 mins. Because i thought if Gallo made fast lap, you'd have to be slower than him, but it just doesn't count lol.

Interessting, but man, pitstop every 2 laps, you must be so patient. :D

I think so too, because they really bahave differently, sometimes burning 2:08 laps sometimes 2:12 being their best. Since they drive on rails, 4 seconds is a lot.
I was having big gaps, not worried because the wall riding 👎was making up heaps of time.
EVs do "refuel" in the pits. After tyres it just sits there for a while. It doesn't register on the Fuel gauge until after you exit the pit (bug maybe), and you can't chose how much to "fill".
Exactly, can’t click on amount of charge, but I was watching it fill during the stops.

Edit: Try8ng the Jag Roadster at 599.99. The gearing tops at 392km/h. Should be interesting.

I enjoy trying different cars in this race but the tune below doesn’t require engine swapping or any other permanent commitment

I did NOT come up with this but I’ll pass along in the event others haven’t seen it…
Aston Martin’s DP-100 VGT can make an easy run on the Tokyo 600. Screenshot of settings below; very simple. The torque curve peaks early and is very flat. Short shift the very second the bar begins to fill with any color and will be able to finish the race with ZERO Pit Stops even on fuel map 1 (can finish in the 25:3’s with good runs). Riding the wall after the straightaway will propel into first place 30 seconds in the first lap (~2.25). I’ve got subsequent laps into the 2:04’s but I’m sure another second can be shaved off. Fun to drive and even with mistakes can finish in decent time.

Hope this helps someone
Try bringing the ballast down to like 50-60 range and drop power. It'll seem like a lot, but it handles and turns so much nicer IMO.

Hi! Question: for what time span was the original Tomahawk Glitch alive? Without the latter one which had much worse tires.

I Can't remember exactly but I think it was like two months round about. I Remember a update going by that everyone thought it was going to get patched and it wasn't and only got patched the following update a month later.

Wow that was quick ! Would you mind sharing the tune you used ? My engine swapped Delta is nowhere near that fast.

At first, i thought this is without engine swap, because you didn't mention it. But even with the swap its extremely fast, i'm slower on glitch cars... would love to see a video of that race or the fastest lap.

Man, it'll probably take me time to reach this far, I'm on menu book 7-8.
Enjoy it! i liked the "campaign" a lot more than grinding now that it is all done.

Engine swapped Delta. It has been done faster but not everybody likes sharing their tunes. This was my second attempt, the first one was a nightmare. It must have the wide body fitted. Wheel size doesn't matter but it must be wide width and offset. Aero parts must be front B, side A, rear A and wing A or B. I Used TCS 5 all race. I Did the first lap on FM6 (and it's still horrible) and the rest on FM1. Beware of the braking distance because you are using standard brakes. Because you will be doing 392kph down the straight the braking distance is insane and it's just easier to wall ride the first two corners. I Pitted end of lap 6 to change tyres and fill up gas all the way. I Barely made it over the line so next time I'll try stretching it one more lap to end of lap 7 before pitting. There is also a ultra high rpm turbo tune with even more power but I don't have that part available. Credit to ROCKY5516 for posting the tune on Youtube.

Wow, that's awesome! Thanks for sharing the tune!!

Thanks for sharing! I can’t get this to work on my Delta though. Replicating this to every exact part and number gives me a 672.04 pp Delta. Do I need to apply the parts in a specific order to make it work perhaps?

Check, and check again. It does work, have you got the wide body applied?I miss this on some builds, first lap is a nightmare but it gets better after.

Wide body, wide tires, custom parts, sadly there is a lot of stuff you can't see in the tuning sheets.

No there's no order, you just have to replicate everything exactly. Also check out the video that @mynameis66 posted, that should help you get it right.

Here's my best lap and tune for an easy sub 23 minute Tokyo credit grind with the engine swapped Lancia Delta.

Wall riding makes this a lot easier so taking it easy makes it hard to mess up bad.

Nice run m8 👍

Just had my first go at this new build/tune and it's fun and fast, better handling and more stable than the Rotorcino.
Got a 23:19 time but made a few mistakes here and there plus a spin🤣 as I was getting to grips(pun intended) with this tune.
But yeah, there's defo room for improvement and this is my new go to for Cr. grind🤣 until PD patches it.
Will be even faster with the Ultra High RPM Turbo which I don't have.

Isn't it a glitch tune? so changing Turbo might break it all together?
There's 2 tunes for this car atm, High RPM Turbo and Ultra High RPM Turbo.

I don't think he likes sharing tunes with others, just posts the times on this forum for bragging rights lol. 🤣

would you mind sharing the tune with Ultra High RPM ? I think my Delta got that one.
