The Clean Race Bonus is not gone, it is still there, just don’t hit other cars with enough force to cause damage and you’ll get it as far as I can tell. I’ve had light contact with AI and still gotten the CRB, but when the contact is significant and damage is done it wipes out the CRB.
You can wall ride to your hearts content without incurring penalties for it.
I did a nearly perfect race as far as hitting walls or hitting another car. I basically didnt hit a car and only rubbed the walls as a nudge and not a hard impact hit. I did go passed the cones at the hairpin turn. I thought for sure I would get clean race bonus for that race.

Ohh yeah, I think crossing the solid white lines anywhere on the hairpin kills the CRB too.

So I gave this glitched out AMG GT Black Series a try:

One of my favorite cars since GT7 came out. Glad to find out some more use for this baby.

Oh, and enjoy the WMMT music.

EDIT: Managed to improve my time by not short shifting at the final lap:

it's been mentioned multiple times in this thread. You can hit the walls as hard as you want as often as you want. you can ram straight into them. Doesn't matter. You only lose the CRB if you 1) hit other cars, or 2) cross the solid white line on either side of the hairpin before the long straight.

Regarding the white line, can you put part of your car over the line, like one or two tires and still keep the CRB?

Which white line to be exact, the inner part of the hairpin or outer? Im assuming outer before the cones?

Where's the Love button in GTPlanet at when you need it? This made my running of the event Legendarily easy!!

Only when racing for position, once you start lapping them the demolition derby is game on I believe.

I've just started using the new (old) Honda F1 car and it's tremendous fun! FM1 is good for 18 + laps so no pitstop and initial runs have it cracking 340km/h on the straight.
Great slidey fun to drive and it even gets airborne over the crest out of the tunnel!

Thanks for posting the AMG Black Series exploit tune. It is quite a fun drive around the Grand Valley 600 event too. I just lower the top speed a bit to utilize all gears and also tweaked the suspension settings to my liking. It’s got so much power it’s great fun to drift and power slide around a lot of Grand Valleys turns and curves. Keeps things interesting trying to push it to the limits without spinning out or sliding off into the dirt there.

That is incorrect, at least for Tokyo 600 event.
I have been trying at least once a day for over 3 weeks now and in my experience it's impossible to loose the crb in the 600 as long as the blue flags/lights are up!
It's something I first discovered back with the Tomahawk glitch.

Edit: I mean I have been deliberately trying to loose the crb and I just can't no matter how hard I try I still get the 825k payout

Well I'll be damned, after more than 20 races in a row playing twisted metal I've finally managed to loose a crb!
Not sure what triggered it but this is going to require further testing as the threshold is definitely greatly reduced once the blue flags come out.
Will report any findings I can come up with.

I think you’re very wrong about that.

Wait I thought hitting a AI car would lose you the CRB?

I lost control and hit the AI Audi r8.

I still got the CRB.

You didn’t hit it hard enough to lose CRB. You can touch AI and still get CRB, and you can even bump into them, you just can’t hit them to the point it causes damage.
From what I have been able to tell in Tokyo 600p I lose the CRB when I hit them hard enough to cause visible damage to the car exterior (dented/crumpled bumper or broken light housing etc.) or I do physical damage (where indicators in HUD are flashing red).
Light contact that doesn’t result in either of these and I still get CRB, assuming I didn’t go off track at the hairpin or pass a car on yellow flag.
Every time I bump or touch AI in Tokyo 600 I still get it. When I go off course at the hairpin or cause visible or physical damage I lose it.

perhaps. But in this case, I think it's because he hit the other car with the REAR portion of his car. I think if you manage to hit a car with the backside of your car, the game kind of assumes it was them that hit you, and you are less likely to get punished. I think if he'd rammed that car with his nose at the same velocity, he would have lost the CRB.

Quite possible that is a factor as well. I’ve been rammed hard from behind by the AI a few times when slowing down for the hairpin and it never cost me the CRB in those situations. But when I’m the one making contact with them I’ve noticed as long as no visible or physical damage is done I get the CRB. If any damage is done I don’t get it.
I’m not exactly sure what all the factors are, that’s just what I’ve noticed in regards to damage and CRB in this race.

yeah, and it's REALLY hard to test. :/
