Probably the TommyKaira ZZII. I love how it handles. With the right tune ithas so much potential. It has so much balance, being both mid engined and four wheel drive (One of the few cars in the game that has this... Infact it may be the only one).

The only problem i have with it is the tyre wear is pretty bad when you tune it up to the max. You get very little wheelspin thanks to the four wheel drive, and i guess it just invites full throttle on the exit to corners. Where you would lose speed in other cars, in this you don't. But you do get the extra wear on the tyres... I guess thats more of a problem with my driving style :P

Ford RS200, Lancia Delta S4, and Peugeot 205ti series all want to speak with you. ;)

No, it isn't your driving. It's just that four wheel drive in GT4 is beset with crippling tire wear, and more power simply adds to the strain because the front wheels want to pull the car straight when you're on the throttle and turning at the same time (which is how you have to drive any car).

Peugeot 205ti series

IMO, that car (the road version) is a much better example of the abilities of M4WD drivetrains. The ZZII still understeers quite significantly, but the 205 doesn't handle or wear tires like any other 4WD car. It behaves like an MR with fewer drawbacks.

What I like about the ZZII is that it was Japan's first proper supercar (if you don't count the NSX or the GT-R). And guess where the engine comes from...

I wouldn't call the NSX a supercar. Neither the GT-R.

Yeah the NSX is more of a mid-high performance sports car. But the GTR is definetly a supercar (unlike the Skyline models before it).

EDIT: Guess you were referring to the Skylines as the R35 GTR came way after the ZZII :dopey:

Right now, I'm tremendously enjoying driving the Nardo on N1 tires. 👍 Most people don't like the car because it doesn't really "feel" quite right, and I know what they mean. But on the N1 tires, and taking realistic lines (e.g. not touching grass, using constant throttle to stay on the inside of long turns rather than braking very late and going way to the outside in order to gain exit speed), it becomes phenomenally satisfying to drive. It suffers from quite a bit of wheelspin, but that and its driving dynamics in general make it turn very nicely with a small amount of very pleasant oversteer. As a testament to its abilities even on these tires, I was able to set a sub-7'40 time on Nurburgring while not touching grass and also avoiding the larger curbs (because they would ruin the suspension on a real car).

Edit: Make that a 7'33.5 lap. 👍
