In international standard ISO-8601 the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has decreed that Monday shall be the first day of the week.
More: Gmail hacked or address spoofed. Sent an email with text of "http://nedakovo.t35.com/" to all my contacts.
It's not a "bad memory" error because i am using a login software.
Another evidence is, there were 3 false login attempts on one of my other accounts.
Just to add to this, I have just done a quick google search and found people reporting this since August last year, a very long time before PSN went down.

Because it is trivial. All calenders in digital format have the option to start the week on Sunday or Monday, and many calenders use to do that no more than 15 years ago. I'm 25 and I'm fully aware that Sunday use to be considered the start of a week, which is why some religious dominations have their day of worship on Saturday. The modern work week is a relatively new development and it became more straight forward to start a week on Monday due to that.

But yes, monday is the first business-day.. but what does that have to do with the ongoing discussion of the worthing "this week" as said on the press-conference??
The words was said on a sunday, so certainly, it is not in regarding to business-days.. Or what do you reckon, sir?

Look at what I posted. Hell, click on the clock on your computer, I live in the US of A and my windows clock defaults to having Sunday as the first day of the week.
Just because school days start on Monday doesn't mean the week does in the rest of the world.

LOL @ people. To me if someone says "in a week" or "by next week", it means up to 7 days from that day usually. The Neyflix guy on the phone said PSN would be up within a week a couple hrs ago.. I took that to mean within seven days.
Some of that probably gets lost in translation anyway. "By next week" could mean one thing and "within a week", something completely different. You wonder if that even comes though the translation.. it was translated right? I never saw it.

It's true even for regular PSN Plus users, pre-outage. Just like certain demos, the games you download completely free have an expiration date, after which they can no longer be launched. This expiration date is the expiration date of your PSN Plus subscription, and as long as you keep renewing it you'll be able to play these games.
But remember that only applies for games that they give away for free. If you buy discounted games, you'll get to keep them forever.

You've still completely missed the point - the option is there for a reason.
You can argue you all you want, but the fact is Sunday was historically and in many places of the world, still is the first day of the week.

I think we can all accept Sony's apology, wit hall the bonuses we'll all be getting in return for being patient. Still, PSN went down the day before my holidays began, and my holidays end tomorrow, so ,if it does go up by Monday, i'll get 1 day before I go back to school. If not, then this holiday is ruined.

If the Tuesday rumors are true, I would probably wait until Wednesday to sign in because of the huge number of people signing in. I would just download and install the firmware update via USB. This applies to any day PSN is back up anyway.

I'd say Sony will have taken this opportunity to upgrade the servers, so there should be less lag now. But this is just my opinion.

Anyway, I've been checking all day. I can't wait for online to come back up. I've been Bob-less for what seems like so long. All 6 Bobs and my FGT and X1 are set to online. I got a headset the day before PSN went pop! I was charging it and haven't tried it yet. Come on, hurry up! It's worse than the day before GT5 was released. I've been buying and hotting up all sorts of crappy cars to show my brother online.
