Custom Bonnets, Body Kits, Rear Diffuser, Roll Cage, Wider Tire Width and more.

And then 999,999 of them would get banned due to the one account per person rule.

I did not make this post to seriously suggestion that one person should create 1 million different accounts just so I would see my suggestion get a lot of support; that's why I used the smiley face as an indication of that I was making a joke.

@CrippledSuns your suggestion is now famous ;)

Thank you for your kind words.
It means so much to me that you could point out that I am a "kid" and a "douchebag" over something like this; especially after I have spent hours of my life working on this to put my suggestion out there for other people to read.
I am certain that the 68 people who have liked this suggestion so far would be happy to see that you call them "kids" and "douchebags" for liking these suggestions.
It is a very nice thing indeed that you could keep a professional standard and a positive attitude in your comment; why you felt the need to comment in the first place is beyond me.

This is about tastes and we all disagree and agree in matters of taste; but to insult people simply because they do not agree with you?

Why no customizable exhausts and place it in any parts of the car's body and custom sounds and also, ability to use different types of the muffler tip?

EXAMPLE: Imagine an R32 GT-R with Bigger Racing Exhausts and the exhausts are on the side of the car. And it has a Semi-Racing Exhaust sound and also, two exhausts on both sides of the car (i mean bigger exhausts on both sides of the car)

Would you like me to add your suggestion to my post? I will give the credits to you of course.

I want to have an feature which we can create our own cars and build them from ground up, especially the engines and the kit.

I suggested this earlier too. (The post with the Skyline sedan)

I am so sorry about that; I must have completely missed your post! My apologies.

As I've already promised "RZQSPEED" to put his suggestion in my post, would you like to be given credits for this suggestion as well? Seeing as you posted this Exhaust suggestion before "RZQSPEED" did.
The credits will go to you both.

It would also be great if you can change the exhaust styles, maybe even some Bosozoku :D

Your suggestions have been added to my post.
Thank you for your help!

Sorry if you see it this way..
And my apologies for all members in this treat...
My opinion for this idea is
I don't like to see customize like NFS underground in Gran turismo series...
GT must aim to be a better sim and full of premium cars than to have a customize mode like forza or NFS..

It is important to remember that giving players the ability to customize their cars in Gran Turismo, does not, in any way, make Gran Turismo anything like Need For Speed or Forza simply because those games offer customization options as well.
It would be like saying that Call of Duty is like Assassin's Creed simply because both games forces you to kill people.

Gran Turismo is a racing simulator game that, already, offers customization options - so why would it be such a bad thing to expand on customization options... especially when Gran Turismo already offers customization options?

Another thing to remember is that the Rally Cars, JGTC, GT1, GT2 and GT3 Race Cars (to mention a few categories of Race Cars) are heavily modified (customized) standard road-legal cars, such as; Chevrolet Corvette, Dodge Viper, Lamborghini Gallardo, Porsche 911, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Nissan GT-R, Honda NSX, Toyota Supra, Subaru Impreza etc. etc.
Now, this is just me thinking out loud... why is it that some people are okay with all forms of heavily modified cars (otherwise called Race Cars and Rally Cars etc.) but at the same time they are against the very customization options that would make it possible to customize a road car yourself and, more or less, create your own personalized Race Car or Rally Car.

With that being said; having an option to customize a car in a game does not make it "like Need For Speed", it makes it "like reality".

I'm sorry Harsk100, but I did not forget your suggestion; I ignored it.
If you want to suggest neon, hydraulics, changing interior colors, painting the engine and building your own cars, then you should make your own thread.
Sorry then. My bad :(

I think that we should have aftermarket Wheels and Aftermarket Body Kits. These images of MX-5 are an example for this feature.

Thought of a couple of simple modifications like
  • Wheelie Bars
  • Customizable Number Plates

I'd like to begin by apologizing on beforehand if I come off as a jerk.

I cannot see what the point would be with wheelie bars in Gran Turismo as they are used on Drag Racing cars that could potentially flip if they don't use them.
Adding wheelie bars to cars that are used on a race track, instead of a drag strip, would create some rather annoying issues; if you crash into someone that uses a wheelie bar then you'll drive up the wheelie bar and fly over the car, admittedly it would look hilarious, but it would not be so much fun for the victim of the accident if it would occur during an online race.
The other issue that I can come to think of is that, depending on the size of the wheelie bar and how close you are to your opponents car, if you try to overtake someone on the inside / outside you could be in danger of being pushed off the track due to your opponents wheelie bar that is sticking out of the back of their car.
With that being said; I think that a wheelie bar could just as well be intentionally used as a "weapon" to push other people off the track or just cause mayhem on the track.

As for the customizable number plates I can only say that it is a great idea, but the major problem is that when you give human beings that kind of ability, well... long story short; there will be many people who will create number plates that are racist, sexist, discriminating, hateful... offensive in whatever way is possible.
You have to take into account that though adults can sort such things out and just report a player for an offensive number plate, Gran Turismo is still a racing game that thousands of children play as well and the last thing a child should have to read is some offensive pro-nazi garbage (for example).

I thank you for sharing your suggestions, but I will unfortunately not add these two to my post.
If you ever come to think of any other suggestions then feel free to share them.

As far as custom plates. Maybe Country name, Country Flag, State, Province, City, Year style(Vintage plates), Registration sticker, Gran Turismo name style e.g; changing "Gran Turismo" font, or logo "GT" to "gt", "GT7" to "GT SE7EN", preloaded Gran Turismo names(Gran Turismo Concept, Gran Turismo HD, etc.), Number plate color coordination. Custom plates along those lines.

Wheelie Bars would be defaulted for drag racing only(if there is that option Online). Like how snow and dirt tyres can only be used for certain events. That's an easy fix.

I like those wheels and kits for the MX5. Those should have been ready for GT6. PLUS, a hardtop option.
