We only have 2 more rounds to go so we are not taking any more entrants.

If your interested we should be running a GT3 league shortly.

Incorrect, there is ONE round left, Laguna Seca.

If people want to join tourneys they need to join at the start. I don't see why people always want to jump in mid-series?!!

Kickstart i'll do my best mate :)

Also Mcglone, gearboxes have alot of gear oil or transmission fluid. some cars when you take the driveshaft out, they dont spill any fluid and its clean and easy. other cars whaat youdo is when you are taking 1 driveshaft out, you have the other fella standing with the other 1 waiting to put it in to reduce the amount you spill. or sometimes you can just stick a bucket underneath and catch all the oil to put it back in lol. But happy days on the job mate, i cant wait until you say you hate cars haha

There is nothing wrong joining mid-series!! The reason I want to join is because I want to see how is the championship, and if I like it, I may join for a new season(if its actually made). Since there are no spots left, fine. Thanks for the reply.

we have 1 race left and we are switching to gt3. the op hasnt been updated as we havent fell the need because we know whats going on.

I'm liking it for now :') , was doing some work on a Ford KA today. It has been ragged the crap out of. But yeah easy work today, actually probs the less busy day.

Hoping to get a couple of good results and have Kamy also take points off the pair of you :P A 1-2 for Team Six Stop Strategy isnt off the cards just yet! /fightingtalk

Lool, only if i can get in the way of you and Kamy ;)

I wish i learnt how to do setups and race better at the start of this. I would be well up fighting for the championship. I should get the award, Most improved ;)

Lol, I've had the same set up for every race!!! (well knight did a Monaco one for me)

I really need to learn how to set up a car properly, a massive advantage having a track specific set up.

All tracks are different in the way the car acts, There might be a few similar tracks. I noticed on some tracks if the setup too soft on the car it acts very crap too strong same again but most of the time you can get away with it. I tend to have my setup pretty strong doesn't always work to how i want but that's why you do test runs and teaks.
My way of learning to setup a car is to first learn the track. Like do 20 laps or more. Once done a very best time, do small teaks where you think you can gain a 0.200 or 0.500 even a second. But that's the way i do it, it's probs very different to how mole , kamy and the rest do there setup's.

The tip is no one can teach you how to setup, you sort of got to find it yourself. That's the best thing though when you finally got a good setup and then win it's pretty good. Maybe you can learn more at GT3 soon :)
I actually learnt how to setup a car by drifting so yeah ;)

lol i've been running pretty much the same set up for every race appart from aero and gear ratios, raised the rde height and softened the suspenson a bit for trial mountain but, appart from that, haven't changed anything between races :dunce:

Thats why team Six Stop Strategy has been such a force in this championship. ;)

Now seriously. I tweaked some settings from track to track. In the last 1/3 of the championship I didn't lost much time practicing so I would come to the lobby and tweak some settings. In the last races car has been to tough on tires. Don't know why. I reverted back to the pre-season setup last race but lots of smoke kept coming from my tires. Guess I need a setup session this sunday to get ready for a strong finish.

So...
As Mole asked before are we still going with the idea of droping the worst round??
I need to know it to try and compile the standings as fast as I can.

If so I'll average each round for all drivers and the worst will be droped. Just need confirmation so I can start preparing that.

Kamy, I'm sorry, I'm going to let the team down tonight - and annoyingly, means I can't try to grab a top three place tonight :P - I stupidly arranged to have our kart team's catch up meeting tonight, totally forgot about this series - so I can't make it tonight :(

Shame on you. :sly:

No worries mate. I'll do my best for the team. ;)

Yeah, we're dropping the worst 'day' of races each.

Ok.
Not much difference as most people failed a race day so obviously thats their dropped result.
The first 3 are the major differences.

Driver Points - Gap -Previous gap
KamyKaze1098 - 172 -
Kickstart-88 - 146 - -26 - 22
Knight_Spirit - 145 - -27 - 23

So I'm even closer to the title. :D:tup:

Room opens: 8:00

Quali begins: 8:40

Race begins: 9:00

Race 2 begins 5 mins (extended for issues) after first.

Race 1: 6 laps

Race 2: 16 laps

Just need to finish 6th (7th if Kickstart manages pole) to be champion. If attendance is as low as last race I might get the win in first race.
Fight for 2nd will be though. Both Kickstart and Knight drop 8 point from the worst round so they keep seperated by a single point.
Get your engines ready boys.
Lets go racing.

lol should be a good evening's racing, really not sure which way it's gonna go! Shame Mole can't make it, although I'm obviously kinda glad as I'm fairly sure if he'd been there he'd have annihilated everyone and got 2nd in the championship lol

bit gutted, got involved in way too many battles during those two races which meant I couldn't challenge you a bit more. ah well, life goes on, enjoyable first online championship for me, hopefully not the last!
well done Kamy for the overall win, very well deserved :)

Will do the race results too, but this seemed more urgent.
Not the best of races for me today. Damn car felt like a boat around Laguna. Damn ballast.

[Vettle mode on]All in all, you know[/Vettle mode off] a good championship.

My first race series, and was a good one. Can't believe how much I improved that car since race #1.

Really interested in running the Camaro z28 RM's in a 1 make. RM buys all the parts so there can be no cheating :D

The cars are fun to drive but after a few laps I realised that they are damn way too fast for close racing :/. I withdraw my support for them, however fun they are.

We need a car that feels great to drive, but is not going to have us planting into each other. (sports tyres maybe guys??)
