I didn't start at the back  I spun my way down to you!

  I thought I saw you starting at least lower midpack in some races but I must remember wrong lol. Regardless the races were great overall

I think a "no harm, no foul" system would work well, if the car you hit loses no time there is no need to penalise anybody.
Agreed. Except the penalty system can't even tell where the track is, since it sometimes gives pens for "forcing another car off the track" when both cars stay on track, so I think even something that simple may be a tall order

Is anybody else getting the blue flag waving on the start/finish straight about halfway through race C (and no, it's not because I'm about to be lapped!)? Happened in every race this week.

Tried it and knocked 0.5 off Q in 4 laps. Going to try it in a race, definitely competitive. Cheers:cheers:
Yeah to me the clear sleeper this week. It is not the fastest on the straight but in the draft she can pass so good enough. It turns in so nicely across the top and rides the kerb so well its a good race car.

Funny, v8 supercar drivers keep saying you need a softish set up at bathurst, a little body roll, go too stiff and you bounce around too much especially how important traction is.

Quite a few good races had, then major server glitch dropping a bunch of guys then a run in with an old nemesis...I lost it on him...

It was shaping up to be a fun race with you until that guy punted me at the Chase. The brake check you did on him at the Cutting caused some collateral damage. That maneuver on Mountain Straight was professionally done, though. No penalty and trash taken out.

Think I may of hit my limit unfortunately. Just no desire to race this week. No good can come of it, didn't even try with alt account. Steering wheel may help with motivation but just not feeling it. I also using my living room tv so I'm sitting a fair distance away which probably contributes to having a disconnect with the car feel.

Thought about building a sim area in basement but not sure the values there for the cost.

Had 2 or 3 really good, fairly clean races today. Of course it came to an end badly, guy blocks me on Mountain straight ON THE FIRST LAP!!! Well that ended badly for both of us and since I couldn't get higher than about 15th I caught the guy and then sent him to the back. It was fun making sure the idiot came last, but so stupid and we started 11th and 12th and would easily have made some places so rather than just give a place at the beginning and get maybe top 10, he ends up 19th. Even taking the inside for Griffin would have been a good move and might have kept him his place, but why drive clever when dirty works most of the time.

After Max's video, I've got to go back to the mountain for more "qualifying".

The combos this week don't play to my strengths. I knew it going into the week, but gave them a try anyway. My DR has dropped a little, but thankfully no reset. As for your home setup, I also use the big screen in the living room. Personally, I don't have a disconnected feeling when racing. Maybe next week's combos will be more inspiring.

Used the C7 on my alt. Had qualified earlier in the week in the WRX, with a 56.260. Got the trifecta with a 3.5 second gap at the finish. The two A/S WRXs must have been scratching their heads. Both those cars qualified with 56.3xx. My C7 FL was a 56.485. Same with the Mustang, the RWDs just pull away on the straights. Plus, strong brakes and tight cornering, negate the AWDs corner exit. Can't wait to see what the next Gr.4 Race C will be. Hopefully, the BOP cooks up similar mixed grids, to current Gr.3 levels.

@Groundfish That second race with you was awesome! I couldn’t quite get past that Ford GT in 3rd. Twice I had a good run coming into Forrest’s Elbow and both times they went wide, but shut the door before I could get my nose up the inside.

The last time put me in your sights. A drag race to the finish line was one of the more exciting moments I’ve had in a race. Well done and thanks for the fun.

Tough thing for me is if I had gotten that podium it would have put me into A+ (49,873 post race DR) It’s a video game, though, and you can’t get to the next level without winning the boss fight.

Have you tried the Ford GT or RS01 down the mountain? They do not meet my definition of manageable.

Correct.

Did not want to go down the rabbit hole of some cars are not suited to some tracks.

I have tried at least 10 cars this week including both the RS01 and the Ford GT.

RS01 - could not get through the dipper.
Ford GT - it was not as difficult but I could not complete competitive laps.

Awesome vid Max, loved the last clip :D

That said, at my level I had to stop trying that kind of overtake because other drivers would never give enough space to complete the move. Or would be so pissed that they'd ram me at the next turn.

I wouldn't mind the Audi TT if it were changed to this: RS3 LMS TCR 2021

Forced off the track in Tsukuba several times in the same race by the same disgusting dude. Returning the favour I end up with 10 seconds worth of penalties, down to B and he finishes the race with a blue S, now that’s a sick, vomit-inducing joke. Icing on the cake is he doesn’t allow PSN messages from anyone else but added friends so I can’t talk any sense into the clown either.

UGH. HATE.
