Suzuka? Super Formula? I'm gonna need gallons of coffee this morning then...
This is exactly why I made the call last week when the new races were revealed on kudosprime that I'd not even bother with Race C. Super Formulas in daily races are a nightmare unless you're in a rare lobby where everyone is courteous and well behaved! The amount of people that tries to go double wide in T2, or follow half a meter behind into Casio not realizing there is no brake lights......
It was horrible. To add to the injury there where people braking hard at the GR 3 brake markers and others running off in every turn then rejoining into trafic....This is exactly why I made the call last week when the new races were revealed on kudosprime that I'd not even bother with Race C. This is definitely a problem with the first few races in the week when you change classes and track styles so dramatically. Gr3 at Bathurst versus Super Formula at Suzuka is like night and day. Hopefully towards the end of the week it might clean up a bit with people having better experience with the cars at the track. I might run a few time trials and test runs before finding the courage to take on a race!It was horrible. Just jumped into my first race, the first lap or two are absolutely bananas but if you stay consistent there's big positions to be gained.I’m seeing the descriptions of Suzuka, but I’m also sitting on a pretty good qualy time after only 6 laps. How bad can it be?
I’m going in to find out.
Is it only Honda? I only have the Toyota, so there's my excuse for not entering Race C!OH and why Honda for race C? I spent 5 mins trying to work out why I couldn't enter![]()

Since it's on topic, is there even any difference between the two?Is it only Honda? I only have the Toyota, so there's my excuse for not entering Race C!
I asked that before I bought the Toyota for Bathurst and people said no difference. So this time I had to buy a car for really no reason.Since it's on topic, is there even any difference between the two?
PD penalty system programmers: "Is that a challenge?"To me, after going full revenge twice lately...
The SR reset is a huge punishment.
It took absolutely ridiculously horrid intentional behavior on my part to get it though. It’s be impossible for a sane in control driver to get that unintentionally.
Aside from having different motors and engine noise I've heard speculation from kie on a stream from a while back that there is subtle differences in power delivery between them but I can't really tell personally. For all intents and purposes they are practically identical imo.I asked that before I bought the Toyota for Bathurst and people said no difference. So this time I had to buy a car for really no reason.
Edit: Snuck in the back door and didn’t even realize it at first, I love Monday mornings.![]()
Supra is the META at Yamagiwa.I quite like Yamagiwa, not sure how fast I am there but feel it is a good track. Suspect there will not be a META car either so should be good fun. RBR my best track so may poke my nose in there but Suzuka, I am embarrassing.
Still? I thought those days were over.Supra is the META at Yamagiwa.

WhachootalkinboutwillisGood I hope everyone goes Supra so I get a full second head start every race
Yep, unless one of the cars that got buffed in the last BoP update is now quicker and no one's discovered it yet...Still? I thought those days were over.
I started this week with the intent of improving from merely bad at this track to mediocre at this track. I felt like I was well on my way to that goal this week, then something weird happened. The track became fun.
By that point I had already improved my QT from 2:06.x at the start of the week to something like 2:04.4xx by Thu. I wasn't able to race Fri due to work stuff but started in again over the weekend and the time started to come down little by little. My K speed goal for this race is 2:02.2xx and I thought I wouldn't get anywhere near it. By the time I was done this afternoon my QT is now 2:02.9.xx. I was ecstatic when I got into the 2:03's, I never thought I'd actually break into the 2:02's.
I guess my point, aside from bragging, is to be diligent and put in the work. The improvement will come and it's gratifying when it does.
