Race B wasn't too bad at C/S, I got myself back up to almost B until I tried a bit of Race A.

Once I set a reasonably good time with the TT, it got me front-ish of the grid, I could consistently get podium with a plethora of cars. Tried TT, Lexus, Mustang, 458, Viper. I wasn't necessarily making up any position past the first corners mayhem, but I could defend reasonably well/set competitive pace despite literally using them for only the warm up period before hand. Also nice to see that GTR and WRX has also been used by front runners too.

I really need to get more into Race C more, but the 25 min full time investment is strangely a lot higher than 15 min time investment in Race B. Also, I always found the level of racing there higher so I actually need to git gud a lot more.

If anybody is wondering if their time is good enough to enter a daily race you can try https://gtblade.com it checks your time against other people with the same DR as you and lets you know what the average time is for that DR and if your time is better than it or not. It also shows you how many people are faster/slower than you by DR rating too. (Full disclosure, I made it so if this is classed as spam then feel free to delete it but think it might help people)
Nice work! Is it only Race B that it shows qualifying time comparison on?

EDIT: I see there's a disclaimer saying your time has to be in the top 5000 for that event. I guess my Race C time is too slow to qualify!

@Barney Da Dog I did wonder why there were so many RCF's! Hence, that would be a record...

Yes it does show how bad I really am - great work though Jim.
Mine is only showing Daily A but that is ok with me. Thank you.

So to have fun I posted my Race A and it looks like this:

Faster Than You
A+ SERIOUSLY??
A EVERYONE in the UNIVERSE
B Nearly EVERYONE on Earth, 1 race in New Zealand slower
C Getting closer, there are 2 racers now
D Getting even closer yet, now a whopping 3 racers
All A little over half (and they were running blindfold)

Slower Than You

A+ Again . . . SERIOUSLY??
A Nobody at all in this UNIVERSE!
B 1 poor soul having a very very bad day!
C 2 and they both started YESTERDAY!
D Investigators found out all 3 were reset A racers looking for easy wins.
All A little over half (remember they WERE running blindfold)

Monday Results (above) with the actual numbers:
Faster Than You
A+ 27 (100%)
A 70 (100%)
B 439 (13.4%)
C 205 (62.3%)
D 204 (28.4%)
All 960 (53%)

Slower Than You
A+ 0 (0%)
A 0 (0%)
B 84 (16.1%)
C 124 (37.7%)
D 515 (71.6%)
All 851 (47%)

EDIT: Race C just showed up, waiting on the very important (and one I really want to see) Race B. I love this tool!

That's not spam that useful!

Your use of red (I'm slower) and green (I'm faster) is a nice visual indicator.
The breakdown into A+... D - excellent.

I suggest using 5 equal length green/red horizonal bars for the A+ ... D as another visual indicator. The race with the best chance of success will start to "jump out" at you.

I have looked at lot's of stats sheets and you have brought something new to the table - indicating the progress of a player amongst peers for lap times. Well done!

Agreed!

EDIT: Race C time now shows, just took a while to appear. I thought my tike was pretty decent, but it seems now not so much!

Worked on my qualy times last night for Race B and Race C.

Race B I first took out the Megane RS and ran about 5 laps, finally managing a 2:06:079. That was a long way off the pace, so I thought I'd try the Atenza, but that was even slower (I think a 2:06:8XX was my fastest after 3 laps) and I didn't get on with the handling at all. So I jumped back into the pits and grabbed my WRX and went faster on my first lap, eventually getting down to a 2:05:081. I know this is still a long way off the best times, but I was happy with my effort, considering I didn't use the Scirocco.

Race C I thought I'd have a go with my McLaren 650S, after not using that for quite a while. It'll take some getting used to in order to get an optimal time out of it, but I ran about 6 laps or so, binning it on half of those, and finally recorded a 2:01:189. Using @Jim_bilzerian 's briliiant GTBlade site it tells me that's not even halfway through the B-rank times, so I'm going to have to find some more pace if I want a decent grid position when I eventually jump into a race!

Race C : Qualifying on the Genesis, it's always a brilliant car on such tracks, easily to manage a low 1.59 or even better. Unfortunately in the race it can't live up and get's eaten everywhere. it's even worst on the Mediums than on the Hards. i assume it might be connected to the fuel level.

i have still not figured out the best car for Race C, the Beetle is a safe harbor, very easy and fast but not outstanding, the AMG is fast but harder to handle, the M6 Walkenhorst is also a great one but not fast enough. any recommendation for the race ?

C is not my cup of tea this week. So tired of Suzuka.

B is good, but there's a lot of drivers that doesn't seem to have any spacial awareness at all.
There's this guy, in a Lancer, he was all up in arms after the race calling me dirty and not fair.
Yet what happened was all his doing.
I included from the chicane to T1 so there's some context, that I do leave space.
And then he pit manouver himself....

it should do all but the lower down your time is the longer it takes to show on the site. Basically for every 1000 times I have to do a api call to GT sport and if I do too many I might get blacklisted so I do the higher times more often than the lower times it can take up to 10 mins usually for the time to appear

gtblade is awesome!

Still hunting that 1:58 though...

Ah right, that makes sense! It took a while for my Race C time to show up, but then it's in the "bottom half" of times recorded, so yeah...

that is a great idea will try add the bars to visualise it easier

Yeah I had one A+ slower than me in one of the races. Poor sod. I'm sure he'll be past me soon enough.

The RX-Vision worked well for me.

He was worried about you and outbraked himself into Turn 1 allowing you to get alongside. If he had held his line rather than try to push you off he'd have had the high ground through the Mercedes arena.

Yep, if he had just clinged to the curb I could not pass before maybe in turn 4 or 5.

If anybody is wondering if their time is good enough to enter a daily race you can try https://gtblade.com it checks your time against other people with the same DR as you and lets you know what the average time is for that DR and if your time is better than it or not. It also shows you how many people are faster/slower than you by DR rating too. (Full disclosure, I made it so if this is classed as spam then feel free to delete it but think it might help people)
Cool site, thanks for sharing!

It looks like race A suits me. I only had time to run 4 races and set my Q time in between them, but managed to pull out one win. If you are starting in the bottom half of the grid, start praying to your favourite holy figure - it is messy back there. I even got punted fighting for 2nd/3rd/4th in one race.

Well done and many thanks!
That is very useful and may even get me to practice more and see if I can raise my times.

Quick question...are these times based on region or world wide?

Find your braking point for T1, then after that hugging the inside of turn 3 so that you can power through turn 4 onto the straight is key.

Couple of Race B this morning with the Lancer. RCZ seems to be a popular choice there. Starting mid-pack and some hard but good racing. Kinda clean races but lots of door banging and bumper to bumper contact. I think it's the nature of the track that bring this kind of contact. Sure enough, some people paid a higher price for the door to door contact but nothing evil most of the time. I'm happy there is no penalty for every contact cause it would kill the racing. Like I said hard but good, nothing like what I saw yesterday in Race A.

I did try 1 Race A yesterday. It was a very strong grid. A+/A/B. I was door #12 of 12. Started/finished mid pack. Nothing dirty but it was hard racing.

With such a small grid and tight matching it's predictably desperate racing. Which can be fun but probably switching to C. Same as last week, planned on A but ended up really enjoying/learning on C.

I tried gtblade.com it gives me my current training time for Manufacturer..only thats good but how to have the times in daily races?

For someone who enjoys racing from the back of the pack that p20 bug at Suzuka is a kick in the nuts. How has this not been fixed yet it's the very definition of game breaking for the poor soul who suffers it.

if it can't be fixed they could/should set the field at 18 cars. Surely that was doable.

I tried with another ID I have, it seems it gives the time only of the last race you do daily race A,B, C or Nation, Manufacturer but I have to check again this evening...
