This is the guy. They don’t look that bad until you check his inputs and realize he’s doing the same thing over and over. Every one of these is absolutely intentional. I only wish @pennanton had been successful at the end of the straight.

Oh no that guy.

I raced him a couple of times and I will say that he really likes to play it aggressive so whenever I see him in close proximity, I just go aggressive at him too even if it costs me a CRB.

Well I bit the bullet and qualified on A race after two races this morning people on alts we’re starting midpack and just taking everyone out.
Oh well.
I shared a good run…Search tag TPC…
It seemed like the 962 was running fine on C but tedious. C for me mid just tedious, I did get a little motion sickness too from it…

Did a bit more testing for Race C:

The Peugeot VGT is nothing extraordinary down the back straight and lacks the downforce necessary to negotiate a lot of the more flowing sectors. Hybrid deploys at a really weird time, too late to stop the LMP1s from jumping you out of corners. The one benefit is that it's damn near impossible to spin out. Not recommended.

Toyota TS050 handles 80% of the track beautifully but is absolutely anemic down the back straight. Everything else will brute-force past you by the end. Porsche 919 performs a bit better on the straight, and also manages to scrape a bit of extra hybrid there too.

I’d like to thank this Canadian for being so angry about getting cleanly passed in race A he decided to go full punt full power last lap. What a toddler!
I dunno who peed in his Cheerios this morning but he seemed half normal the first races.
I lost my victory because of this.
This is why I knew. I KNEW I shouldn’t qualify because then you have to deal with this.
From last ok it’s mellow.
This person here has problems. It’s always the same, running across idiots.
I will say it’s been really fun seeing some of the friendly faces (regulars) in the A race crowd but this kind of toxicity isn’t my cup of tea.
Probably turn off the game for the week. I knew qualifying was a mistake.
You always end up racing complete buffoons at the front…SMH pathetic.
What a sad sad individual.

Just got me a no-qual win at race A. Started at 83 SR. Got a clean race bonus, but only went up to 87. Gonna try for another clean one to get into the 90s. 👍

My advice don’t bother using main. There’s several toxics running the race.

edit on second thought

Ran a C this afternoon after I came home. This time I started on mediums and ran 2 laps then pitted for softs. In the end I only got 1 place above what I started at, because two different guys pulled ahead of just before the brake zones and then dived in front of me and braked maybe 10 meters before I do in the TS050. Both where in the 919and both retaliated in such a way that I spun into a barrier.
I let both of them be when I passed later, was extra cautious when I did.

So one spot up, from 7 to 6, but got almost 1k DR from it and are at an all time personal high. (Close to 20K)
Going back later...

I haven't tried the hybrids yet, do you think there is enough track left AND enough spunk in the hybrids to beat to the line the ones passing you on the last straight?

Went in on race C in my alt. A+/A room. Used the Hyundai. No qualy. Two behind me. One in an SRT. Last was in a 919. Started on the RM for one lap.

So many crashes at the start. I made a few spots. The SRT couldn't catch me.

Came out last after the pit stop. Made up spots as I caught some stragglers. Cars pit around Lap 3-4. As I was passing a car exiting the pits, another was still ghosted into the link. It inghosted at the apex and I slammed on the brakes and aimed for the barrier to slow myself down. No contact with the other car.
Cost me three positions and I was back down the order. Last place was 20 seconds behind me.

Moved up a couple spots with people perpendicular into barriers at different parts on the circuit. Hmm, not too sure about this combo.

Today was a good day most, with my quali time of 47.6 in Race B standing up well. 3 poles today, but lost 1 to a DC, and bagged a win too. Managed to lose 2 other wins to some careless corners.

And in 1 race I was a complete banker, engaged clueless mode.

But 2.5k on DR today, so all good

I lost 700 Dr so back to just under 20k at 19.7k. As I only do a race here and there my DR fluctuates wilder than if I did several in a row.
Also tried Race C for the first time today. Loved it but frustrating at times. Started P17 and Made loads of places up lap 1 as others seemed to spin out. Then they catch up. A German passed me fine and I followed him. He fought with a guy ahead and hit the barrier out of the croissant and I was able to get a run on him. I don't know whether I mistimed my pass and glanced him or if he just came across but I did touch him slightly. Then he instantly swerved me and I glanced the barrier no harm done. Into the hairpin they tried to punt me but failed giving them a 1 second penalty to which they quit soon after. Also met an aggressive Swede. I managed to get myself to P10 on the last lap before the car spun out of the Village hairpin. Didn't do much different to the other laps. I lost 2 places and had the Swede back on my tail. I held them off on the last few corners but just before the line the car randomly spun across the line but the Swede managed to get my place. I was convinced they had hit me off but wanted to check first. On looking at the replay it appears I just drifted onto the slight strip of grass by the pit wall. This was enough to unsettle the car. It is perhaps the strangest accident I have had on the game. Tomahawk is good but I seem to suffer understeer in it. Nothing unusual there. Glad to see loads of variety being used in this race.

Sure the aggressive Swede wasn't me? I don't recall a Tomahawk spinning but I have been Inna few hard races this week

Race A is where the PLAYAHs at.
So fun, an EPIC combo.
It really is a good one. The car is on edge.

You're right, this combo is epic. Edgy car on a daring fast track. When no one is around it's really great, but it become a real challenge when you're in the pack. Every little contact will unsettle the car and like you said, people don't want to lift. It was really cool seeing you race yesterday, not gonna lie, I was a bit nervous when you were around. I didn't want to be the one to screw your race.

Also races C from the back, really fun but there is so many turns. Took me a while to remember what is the next corner and where to place the car. There is still time to be found but achieved a 2.56 in a race.

Nice! That’s moving!
I have run a fl on A 42.1 with TCS3. I find tcs really helps the car calm down.
It’s safer in race, that way. I’m done for tonight. After my earlier angry moment, it was a great afternoon of racing with everybody!

Been having fun with my man @Groundfish at race A this afternoon.
C'mon out if you wanna get some. We're shreddin' it! 😁
Was fun catching you and whole mess of GTP guys in a couple! Of course, when I put in a better QT (#50 in NA now... not too shabby for me!) everyone skipped out! Even nabbed a fastest lap in one, rare for me... was getting pretty comfy with so many clean guys at the front for a few race. ...it's a really fun combo when people are clean. ALMOST feels like real driving!

I normally don’t go for vigilante justice, but in a race where I was unceremoniously bashed at every turn, this guy picked the wrong time to pull this stunt.

For the record, it was very satisfying.

I've had multiple races and run ins with that person. They are a serial swerve blocker and love to push people into walls. They also are a guaranteed dive bomb on you if you are even remotely in reach. They haven't seemed to learn since I first ran across them about a year ago.

Did my usual of 3 races this evening. Race 1 I start P2 and make a move on the inside going into the first chicane and take the lead. Then I proceed to miss the apex on the exit of Ascari and pick up a .5 second penalty. P2 passes me on the main straight due to the slip they had from me. P3 and I trade spots the rest of the race and I manage to get back to P2 when they run wide coming out of Lesmo 2.

Race 2 was a complete and total disaster. I start P13 and I’m the idiot who barreled in to the first chicane and I cause mass chaos. Everyone starting breaking way earlier than I anticipated and I forgot to do the same. I pick up a 1 second penalty. After I serve the penalty, I drop pack to P15 I manage not to hit anybody until the final lap. After some penalties and infighting in front of me, I manage to get up to P8. Well, I mess up the entry into Ascari and take out a bunch of drivers. Then I get spun and drop back down to P15, and with the 2 second penalty, finish dead last. I apologize to the entire room as I felt terrible for messing up some races for other drivers. This was my worst race in a long, long time. I drop to 83 SR and just stay in rank S.

Race 3 I start P8. Everyone survives turn 1 for the most part, and nothing exciting happens until lap 3. A train of 4 cars (P5 – P8) with me on the end all go into the second chicane, but P5 botches the entry causing a chain reaction in which I get into the back of P7, and I get a 1 second penalty. Understandable, but still dumb. I finish the race P6 which is a huge improvement after the previous race. Unfortunately, I now sit at 78 SR and fall into rank A for that. I’m scared to death to race tomorrow because who knows what’s going to happen turn 1 with lower SR drivers.

Couldn't really see the name when I first watched it but yeah I've come across that guy before almost since the start of gtsport and he does the same thing every time someone with an Aussie flag tries to pass him. Have seen him racing completely clean while getting passed by other nations and then as soon as it's our flag, Bam dirty driving engaged

I was I a couple of the races with you. Race A can be a lot of fun when it’s a lobby full of the regular crew. Is good stuff

You can really tell the regs. You guys know how to race. Great racing with you :).
If everyone can behave races like this A are some of the best in online racing, imo.
My apologies if you were caught in any less than stellar moves by me.

edit @KosmoKazi I would have liked to race more but concentration was shot after so much racing today.
Nice dicing with you! Hope to race again!

Edit ha! Just watched a replay and it’s a photo finish with you, Bill!
I had forgotten that race! Great driving!!!

I can imagine what will happen.
Maybe run a few C to get your SR up?

It certainly wasn't your main. I would have said hello if it was. If it was an alt then that would have been a perfect way to mess with me.
