Daily Workout doesn't count laps from Sports Mode qualifiers

I just tried qualifying for Race C - 1:49 in a Beetle Gr.3, still lots of room for improvement, curious to see how it'll manage against the VGT cars.

Anyway, none of the laps I put in went towards the Daily Workout goal. No idea if this is a bug or an intentional "feature". I'm pretty sure they did apply in GT Sport.

I just noticed this today as I haven't been in sport mode much since GT7 launch. I thought it was a bug. I logged out, restarted PS4, restarted my router. Nope, it's apparently a feature. Yay.

If you continue driving when the matchmaking timer runs out they won't save. You need to exit the track.
At least that's how it was in GTS
