I have really bad news guys :scared:. My PS3 is broken, and I sent it in for repairs. It may take as long as a month for repairs. So, I will still watch over the thread, but I obviosly cannot make lobbies. Sorry for the inconvenience. :guilty:

That's such terrible news. How did it broke? If it's over-heating, good luck. My friend couldn't get his repaired due to over-heating.

unless your ps3 was under warrinty you could have saved so much time and money taking it in to somebody who fixes them. or fix it your self.
many years ago... in a land far far away... i left my ps3 on plugged into a "surge protected" power strip in a thunderstorm, power went out, came back on, but my ps3 did not, the power contol unit got fried. so i stashed it my closet for many years. eventually went on ebay got a new power controller unit $30. put it in turn it on and it worked, but i had broken my disk tray trying to get my game out. so i went on craigslist and found somebody who fixes xboxs and ps3s another $20, and my ps3 was completely fixxed.

so screw sony, this ps3 is really easy to fix on your own. i could have even put some L.E.D.s in there while i had it open.
 
Getting multiple disconnect's, not sure if its nationality-diversity for the room (I counted 4 or so) or... Sony having crap servers 💡

Will still attempt joining to give a chase or two

Yep... Plus I only race stock cars... It requires more skill to beat someone with the same car. Anyone can beat someone with a tune.
 
I know that we're not the only cops club on GTPlanet. But I really hope that this will be a model for cops lobbies that are not a part of GTPlanet. The state of lobbies at the moment is very disappointing. The number one problem is hosts never put restrictions. That way, people with X2011s, Formula GTs, and Veyrons run free. The second problem is hosts who don't know how to enforce rules/ones that go AFK for like 2 hours. I join these lobbies all the time, and it's so frustrating that people can't properly play.
 
So to recap thus far...

-go to Sarthe
-be cop
-get into highspeed chase with supercar and 2-3 cops
-become lead chase car, weaving in-out of traffic, almost catch perp
-watch superstreet become crash victim
-lose perp, return to victim, request med unit, receive none
-leave victim to get own med unit
-victim dies, no med units available
-get drunk at bar, turn in badge and leave force
-take mustang out for cruise, see ghost of victim, toss boose out window, carry-on

Meanwhile NFS (Endurance guy?) is excellent cop, and Doog is in some 'plant' growing buisness/Mafia stuff (wasn't paying full attention, but still entertaining)

So far way better experience than the multiple-disconnects of earlier, lol

First of all, sorry for the disconnect, the light went off for 5 minutes :/. I was hosting it after EnduranceGuy.

This was my first time in this lobby and I have to say that it was funny. Being a Civilian and a Cop, both were funny.

Ya, that's just like the one lobby I joined that you were in (completely by coincidence) on the tokyo track... every one was in a supercar or an f1 car

theres usually a lobby every day on the week ends so you can probably join your first one tomorrow. if you have any questions just post them here on the thread. just obey the speed limit, respect the cops, keep your pants on at all times, and dont cause accidents then there should be no problems.

:eek: Sounds like things started going a *little* downhill after I left! Ah well, maybe I should become an ambulance unit sometime. I'm usually a cop because more often than not I'm hosting and I have to be alert to deal with speeders. Maybe someday I will be able to shift to fill other roles...
 
i have seen the need for an ambulance the last 5-6 lobby's ive joined so i will make an ambulance car. if some body makes a lobby tomorrow i WILL be on patrol.

has anybody else even considered makein an ambulance car? i dont think ive even seen one in this club.
