I'm surprised nobody's mentioned this yet but the Toyota Aristo and Lexus GS300 make excellent police cars. Incognito styling that blends in with traffic but ballistic performance upwards of 650 horsepower have made my GS300 my undercover police car of choice. Long gears mean that I can keep my racing exhaust's roar subdued, but as soon as I need to pursue someone I can kick it down a couple gears so the baddie can get an earful of what they're about to encounter. :dopey:

That doesn't include catching me, right? I'm quite hard to catch... (When I'm not a cop, of course)

How are you people online? It keeps telling me PSN is undergoing maintenance.

I think the maintenance was going on for... 2 or 3 days now? I tried to sign in late last night and it was still under maintenance. So, unless this is over, I'm out for now.

Its going to be going on untill midnight...

I think people who are able to sign into PSN or play GT5 online should respond to this post with a "Yes" or some other indicator as to their connectivity. I am able to sign into PSN just fine.

I'm online so I'm available for a cruise.

Edit: nevermind. I just got off.

Man, the percentage of black cars in my garage has hit a steep incline. And normally, all of the cars in my garage are red. Gotta stop buying so many cars!!!

Suddenly, two '98 Taurus SHO's show up in my UCD, side-by-side.
*buys one, changes oil, etc, paints it red, leaves it stock for cruising*
*buys the other, changes oil, etc, paints it black with white wheels, tunes it for police duty*

AAAAHHHH!!!! I NEED TO STOP DOING THIS!!!!

OK. Assuming all goes well, I should be hosting at about 9:00pm GMT tonight. Stay tuned for updates.
Oh, and supposing I wanted to host on a track that was a city track but wasn't part of the list in the OP (something like SSR5 or Madrid), would that be OK?

My Google-fu tells me that's about 4pm EST, correct ? - if so I'll be there if PSN works

Been itching to drive my Shelby, lol

Edit* track change is fine by me

Well, I just checked and it looks like I'll be OK for a 9pm GMT start. One thing though, flesxruoyxllik is asking if he could use a stock Cizeta V16 and he promises to behave. Please could an admin answer me on this.

It's good to know that people are actually trying to play realistically. Stock vehicles being used is terrific!

I use detuned ones so that they seem more realistic, like an 535d, or an A6 4.2 V8 Avant for when I'm feeling naughty heh heh. But i'll try make tonight if nothing comes up ;p

I have really bad news guys :scared:. My PS3 is broken, and I sent it in for repairs. It may take as long as a month for repairs. So, I will still watch over the thread, but I obviosly cannot make lobbies. Sorry for the inconvenience. :guilty:

What a pity.

Sorry to hear that, Dbeav :(

Fire hound, will you be making a room this afternoon? I will not be able to go tonight as I have a ball to go to and I asked my girlfriend out to it :)

I'll be making a room in about 90 minutes.
And that does suck DBeav. Hope you can get back to laying down the law soon!

Bah! That's some crappy news. Hopefully it doesn't take a month, that's just ridiculous.

Damn! That sucks! What seems to be the problem? My friend is having trouble with his PS3. He said he's having problems with his disk tray.
