Just an idea, maybe we could use a 07' Impreza as a cop car for city roads like London. If we can, I can make a tune for it.

Anyone here comfortable on nurburgring. I'm looking for a good racer to test drive a Audi R8 on nuburgring and to report how the handling is how the acceleration is and any suspension problems. I would do it my self but me and the nurburgring don't really get along. If anyone's interested message me on gt planet or on psn account which is ATT_TIGER.

It's a big help that we have some roadblock uits. Although, I have one question that I want to ask, publicly. If the suspect/target/speeder hits the roadblock, does it mean he automatically gets a ticket? Or ccan he still go on? (If it were real, he'd be dead!)

My opinion is, it depends how fast the rams though it. If he's going fast enough, yeah, someone would die. But if he pushes them out of the way at... say... 20 mph? He can keep running.

It depends. If he gets stopped to within 0-5MPH (like it says in the rules) then he should pull over. But if he finds a hole in the roadblock, then he can still run.
I wish I could make it to the lobby, but I won't be home until tomorrow.

What would we use for roadblocks? Skyline PCs or any other cop car if there isn't enough time for a pursuing cop to switch to a heavier vehicle? My thoughts on heavier vehicles are black Range Rover Stormer Concepts with white wheele and the Jay Leno Tank Car, although the Tank car is incredibly slow so on a circuit like La Sarthe, it would be difficult to deploy. The RR Stormer is considerably faster than the tank car and I guess it would be easier to use on large circuits.
But one problem I can see is if a roadblock is deployed or approaching a location, then if the racer turns around, then the roadblock becomes useless.
But rolling roadblocks is an interesting idea. Say 3-4 Stormers line up side by side while moving at low speed. Then with the pursuit cars behind the racer, they form a line as well. Then the racer can be boxed in completely!

I think it would be better that a roadlock must contain only one make and model of car. (So, a roadblock will have just Audi RS 6 only etc.) Because if there were a mix of vehicles, the strenght of the roadblock will vary. It's obvious that the target would hit the lighter car.
And I think I should point this out, that roadblock cars SHOULD NEVER have a weight reduction!!

I like the idea because the Subaru Impreza is trustworthy with its' 4WD and really good handling, but it lacks the horsepower. I will do some lap time testing when I get home. I doubt 500 horsepower would be able to keep up with 700 horsepower, but we will see.

I have a 10' Impreza tune which should work. It's not so quick in straights, but it flys through corners. ( Which is why I said it should be a city cop) Oh, and it does it on SS tires.
