LMP is still getting the kinks worked out in it, but I've got a vague idea of LMP.
Bentley: 552 900
Toyota: 559 900
Audi '01: 560 900
Audi '05: 567 950
BMW V12: 583 900

I'm regging cars... and I've currently got the Ford GT at <395hp.
Crazy fast automobile.

Ford GT: 401 1180
Jaguar XJ220: 425 1180
Dodge Viper: 426 1180
Pagani Zonda: 449 1180
Chrysler Viper: 469 1180
Corvette ZR1: 483 1180
BMW M3 GTR: 495 1180

All cars come with engines and no turbos.

See? I completely agree, but we're the only two that want the GT hp up and not the LMP hp down! djackson, Carnby, Berm, and nforspeed are HUGE advocates of this.

LMPs can easily run hards at this horsepower, as long as you don't push the issue with LSD, you're okay.

Be prepared, I'm going to change regs most likely.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Speaking of regs change, I'm going to hold the series back for another two weeks so I can really get this stuff straightened out. I've been moderately busy with family and school, plus I haven't been feeling 100% as of late either.
Here are what the largest changes will probably be...

LMPs will be docked about 40-50hp. Due to lack of interest, Pescarolo Sport will be yanked from my series. These regs will also have Mediums on them. You can get used to them, they really aren't much worse than softs, especially on LMP.

LMGT1s horsepower won't change much, but I'm lowering the stock weight from 1240kg to 1180kg in order to improve GT handling, for specifically, lower HP GT cars' handling (example, Vette ZR1) Also, will be regged to Mediums. I'm going to limit GT1 to 8 teams: Ford, Jaguar, #51/#91 Viper, Zonda, Panoz, Audi R8 LMS, Corvette ZR1, and BMW M3 GTR.

LMGT2s regs will be kept about the same to increase the gap between GT1 and GT2. These will be redone with Mediums.
Again, I'm limiting teams here... they will be...
Camaro SS, RX-7 GT300, IS F, R33 TC, Challenger SRT8, and Infiniti G37.

I'm also going to send these to a couple of my all-rounders to see if they are okay. I'm going to reg them at Suzuka, then turn them around, and reg them at Monza.

This is the kind of stuff that kills series mid season.... taking a full and highly competitive LMP class and screwing with everything. It wasn't broken, why fix it

I tryed out the regs on all the cars and i like it,, it wont kill it, if anything it will improve the class and the gt1 class

Im not running in this. I dont got time to fiddle with lsd settings on harder tires for lesser power. Plus the timing is way off for me. Im not going to finish 4 hour races so why enter? Sorry mythic.

I had to do something with the shattered GT class...

Hell... I've got another split group, this time LMP.

Half of the class for the regs (CJBMX/Me/Carnby/djackson/Berm/nforspeed/robertlm)
Half of the class against the regs (freshseth/jakegirard/C-Gunna/cshardy)

My LM98 regs are SO much more even when compared... they;re hassle free and actually turn lap times comparable to what they ran IN 1998. I think I was meant to do something like that...

Good to hear this is starting friday bc the WEC changes pissed me off idk if im gonna keep doing that

Have you actually tried them?

Actually, since appearently I've been pissing people off as of late, YOU tell me wham I'm supposed to do.
Please, tell me what I'm supposed to do in order to fix a shattered GT1 and GT2 class, extend LMP's pathetic tire wear, AND decrease the drafting effect all at the same time.

No I mean you do what you want dude. It's your series. I just felt like the class was awesome how it was. Tires lasting 15 laps at Spa wasnt horrible tire wear for me

Lets just take a breath and relax,, wait till after monza on saturday, then start beeotching bout the regs,, its not like u have to make a whole new setup,, hell i didnt change anything, took me 20 mins to get use to it

At Monza... old regs lasted about 22 laps... new regs allow 30+ lap pit runs, which is still realistically short... but at least a fuel and a tire run is very close with each other.

Hi, me and abg_legacy were practicing for tomorrow and we have a couple of our friends there running the regs for the corvette and we were running both vipers, we ended up doin 105 laps tonight in 25 an 30 lap races, and we thought we bring to winner's attention, that the 91 viper is very sluggish, so is the 51 but not as bad as the 91,, the vetts blow us away, and its possible to make 30 laps on meds or gt1,, idc if you fix it or not, just bringing it to your attention

I am aware of this and I forgot to mention the ZR1 was 473hp here and the #51 Viper was put too high to start with, I'm putting it at 463.
The ZR1 is just a straightaway master with lower grip tires, the only reason for the 10hp increase is because it was regged to be 493hp @Suzuka.
What about other cars??

As far cars in the ur gt1 class thats all,, we reg some other gt cars and ran those around 1:46 1:47 lap mark, like the weed eater gt500,,zonda r and couple others but just vipers and vettes most of the time

I'm talking about cars actually in my series...

I played with the v12 i was doing low 1:35 in it, vipers vetts,, R8 05 felt a little slow as well, dont think it was my setup tho, so ill be sticking with the R8 01

I'm still only getting low 1'35s, so the only way I can get Team Audi, again, is tire wear.
I really wouldn't run the wing option on the Oreca R8 here.
