Dear America, by John Cleese

Can we can the debate over if it's funny or not? Personally, I find most of both amusing and the discussion that has followed has mired that amusement beyond recognition.

Let it go, people. It's the Comedy Corner. If you want to debate it, go to the Opinions forum and have at it.

A b unch of kids at my school said that Canada was pronounced "Canadia." When I told them of their insolence, they replied back to me, "Yeah, well, why is it Canadian?" I basically told them that they were morons and that they should be disgraced to have let their family lineage to have lasted so long.

I thought Canadia was just a slang term used by Michiganders, guess not.

I think the rip on English cuisine was a bit unfounded.

My dog loves it.

I think Dennis Farina said it best when he described London in Snatch

London *****, ***** ****. Cup of **** ***** ****! Bad **** **** ***, London.

Dear john Cleese:
try it mate, and we'll be shovin nukes up yer arse so fast you won't have time to choke on yer gin an tonic! no yank will put up with anything such harf-arsed!
as for 18...ye forget the Japanese, did yer?

We play it in the UK too. Only it's called 'Rounders' and it's played by school girls.

but, of course,US baseball, and I believe, Japanese Baseball evolved from Rounders. I believe there are elements from something called "tipicat" and mabey even cricket. the same thing happened with American Football.

remember, america does everything it's own way.

"Anything to declare?"

"Yeah, don't go to England. "

but my favorite one is

"We have beaches-"

"Who the **** wants to see them!"

This is a perfect example why many parts of the world just roll their eyes at us, we have that holier than thou attitude.
