As for the PSN pre-orders, some pre-orders don't go live on the PSN store until, it is close to release date. If i remember correctly one of the previous big titles didn't appear on the store until 2 weeks before the release date.

Games get delayed all the time; planning days off around a release months or weeks in advance is just stupid.

Sorry I'm stupid enough to have enough holiday entitlement that I don't have to use all of it on trips abroad. Again, will run my holiday request past you next time.

Normally, after a game goes Gold it will be submitted to the 1st Party (Sony in this case). After they approved the game, it will appear in the PSN Store. That's why the game isn't available neither on PSN/Xlive right now.

This is good for me. I just preordered but I would only have £80 by 15th March and I have driving lessons to pay for at £17 every 2 weeks so this gives me more time to save up my money! :D. By now I'll have about £120 or so not including daily expenses (£10 a week) and driving lessons (£17 every 2 weeks). So I spend £27/£60 every 2 weeks, leaving about £60 or so for PCars when it actually releases if my math is right

*Maths

*math instead of *maths (sorry, no need to capitalise)
Seriously? Still with the correcting of my grammar? I capitalised because I wasn't using the word in a sentence, it's what I do. And I prefer to use math instead of maths, I don't care if it's wrong.

For somebody that is only speculating you are surely slanging around many of your opinions as hard facts. Not a very respectable thing to do, but oh well.

Sorry, I'll finish every post i make with an Imo tag just to save your confusion. And for the record I'm not stating anything as hard fact or I would provide evidence.

IMO

You were using the *words in a sentence.
Still??? (If you correct me for using 3 question marks). I didn't know I had to use absolutely perfectly accurate grammar on every single post I make on internet forums.

The one thing I'm puzzled over, is that it was delayed from last year 'due to heavy competitive period', but now 'development issue'.....mmmm

Funny thing is, the other day I saw a video that showed off a lot of Project CARS bugs. Like cars going through the floor at heavy crashes, cars going through the floor at the start of a race and cars shooting into space at heavy crashes too. They could be fixing these.

whats their to be puzzled about.
Timing is crucial for Any new IP especially if its not from a big publisher.Racing games sell les than action and adventure and shooters so it was perfectly justified.

can you see what build it is ?

That's fair enough, but why use the excuse of 'heavy competitive period' - why not say it is broken and needs fixing. Then a couple of months later delay due to bugs, which obviously have been around for a while, but hey, I'm a cynic on logic

It was like 4 days ago, guy said it was a recent build of the game.

Math and maths are equally acceptable abbreviations of mathematics. Some countries seem to show a preference for one or the other but neither is incorrect... and since GTPlanet is an international site...

A word of advice: Leave the grammar policing to us in future.

What about the unnecessary capitalisation in the middle of a sentence?

Its not like the only reason given for the move from November to March was the heavy competition. The main reason back then was having more time to finish and polish the game, the competition thing just stuck with lots of people for some reason.

This two week delay is a little odd... but it's only two weeks. It could be worse! Do we have a stated reason as to why the delay has come about a month before? "Final Adjustments" could mean anything.

Sure it sucks for anyone who has taken time off and can't move it however. It's the risk that's taken unfortunately.

 Of course the game gets delayed one day after I pre-ordered the LE.
Honestly, the two weeks don't bother me that much.
But I can't shake the feeling that this game might still be broken come release day. :nervous:

This is exactly why you won't find Pcars to pre order on PSN, Sony obviously have no faith in SMS and now you can see why. You can't blame them, new IP, somewhat unproven development team. It's one thing to delay once, but twice is not good. We can all argue that for us consumers it'll eventually be a good thing, but they just dropped a clanger in the industry. A lot of publishers will be looking at them in a different light now. Shame.

IMO
It has actually been delayed 4 times :P , but if it makes the game good, that's all that matters.

I didn't realise that, were they all press released? As far as I'm aware the 2014 date was the first, second being March this year.

I don't doubt SMS will use their extra time wisely, i do prefer to receive a fully realised game than not obviously. However the more times its pushed back will only serve to emphasise what little bugs are still left in come April.

No one will be 100% satisfied of course.

As for the delays, I'm sure that's an easier pill to swallow if you're sitting on a Pc beta. Those of us on next gen consoles have nothing!

Waiting patiently
