The Gold Version that goes to 1st party QA is due for delivery roughly 1 month before release day. Which will make Build 950 roughly the one that is going out to them.

I can't find it for preorder at any of the US retailers.
But it looks like Euro retailers have it.
If so, what is the logic behind that? They don't like money?
Typically the US and Japan buy more limited edition type games than anyone else.

Nope, unfortunately the LE isn't available in NA. I too was planning on purchasing that version but oh well, it isn't a huge deal. Hopefully I'll be able to change my vacation to April now, we have to pick at the beginning of the year so obviously I went with March 20th...

This does make sense in one way, I hear a lot of people say they would rather it be delayed than be released with bugs so by delaying the release they are catering for these people.

Nope. Those would be people who want the title released with as few issues as possiable and don't mind if that results in a delay, quite different to people who simply don't want the game released on time, which I seriously doubt is anyone.

He never said why but I get the impression you assumed it was for no reason hence the claim of a nonsense comment however I think it does make sense and here we are.

Probably not much WMD members here, but a quick check that I did on the WMD forums last week, shows that the game was delayed by the publisher (Namco Bandai). Shooting for a better release window. Part of that may be the PC release of GTA V, and you don’t want to release you game in the same week as a GTA game, no matter if they have something in common, or even if it is the already third release of the same game. Gives them more time for polishing so that’s fine with me.

PS4 limited edition sold out here in the UK ages ago. Can still get the PC and XBONE versions but not the one I want.
