design a track you would like to see make it into GT5 (not that any would, but it will still be interesting to see what people want)......

ill start off, its called Drivers Green and is aprox 7.25km (about 4.5 miles) long.....its very fast with turn 6 being banked and of decreasing radius...the FIA installed 2 additions for F1 cars to try to limit the speed aswell as adding grand stands (the original track had no stands, as on the Nürburgring) to various locations on the track......it is situated in a forrest with a pond and stream inn the middle.......the original track consists of 9 turns with 2 semi hair-pins, 5 high speed turns (1 banked) and 2 which form a chicane......

please try to limit image size to 500x375 pixles......i am looking foward to seeing what you guys come up with! :)

Here is something i came up wiht reall quik, lots of bridges, water and a place where the sight is beautiful. Hope u like! :)

I know its overplayed. but I would love to see tounge maps from japan in the next gt game. mind you without the initial d refrences. no gutters, no 'jumps'. just the tracks themselves... i mean if auto modelista can get akagi, and bg3 can get most of the courses, why cant sony?

How about having more real life track ( no need for tri-ovals, d-oval, rectangular oval, etc.) but f1 tracks, etc. and a track builder. would be awsome to create your own track and race it with people from around the world

Hmm, an extended Monaco. Nice. I'd like an imaginary really, really long one, longer than the ring even taking in more of a mountain feel, maybe have a bit through a forrest and a bit going down and back up part of the mountain racing near cliff's ect that'd be cool. I like long tracks, they take longer to master and take longer to get bored of.

I´m not sure. I love to drive on Nurburgring in GT4, but Le Mans is teh boring for me.

I don't know why, but the Eagle One logo

immediately made me think of a race course.
And here it is:

(the 'five minutes in paint' version)

In my experience, it's very hard to tell how a track will drive just from looking at a map. This may have too many long straights though.

Thats because theres a lot of straights followed by slooow sections, the ring is more what I'm talking about, fast but twisty at the same time and with plenty of changes in elevation, nothing mad but exiting. Le Mans is pretty flat compared to some tracks.

Track Name-Overdrive
Track Length-(Think La Sarthe)
Track Information-
OverDrive is a very, very complex endurance track made to test Agility,Endurance and Speed. This track consists of many high speed sections as well as many tight turns. This track is used as a 24H Endurance Event also.

Only if we use Bridgestone tyres : p

btw, that extended monaco looks more like Monaco connected to Trial Mountain... yawn.

PD.. less fake tracks more real ones, UK circuits, Brands Hatch etc

the red circles are the mountain in the middle.
orange is the bridge overlapping the track.
blue is the press/corporate offices and boxes.
light green is the grandstands.
Dark green is forest and other wild greenery.
Brown is cliff area or where the track drops off into the open.

Yes more fictional tracks and more tracks period would be welcome. I miss Rome Short, Tahitti Road. Would like to see more medium length tracks not to short not to long just right. The Mountain fictional race course in GT4 is amazing. Not fond of the narrow city tracks or city tracks in general. Would be fun to have very long courses through differnt terrain. I think differnt track configurations of the same track are okay but do not add a whole lot of value.

sorry about the size, this is oulton Park in cheshire :D

the blue is one course, the red the other. i cant remember the binames of each one tho :(

^That one definitely. If TOCA Race Driver 2 is correct, it's Oulton Park Short and Oulton Park Long.

this is a track i designed awhile ago-

I rushed drawing it a bit in paintshop. THe sketch i did was way better

long track 76 corners in all. Would be roughly about 15-20 km in length.

short course is 34 turns and probably about less than 10km.

lowest point altitude wise is about turn 3, the south west section climbs around a hill and back down the other side. The north section of the track is at a fair bit higher than the rest as it runs along the side of a mountain, with quite a bit of elavation change, before running back down via the switchbacks before the main striaght , the first bit of the striaght directly after the switch backs also being slightly down hill.

Not my design obviously, but it's my local track.

Ruapuna Raceway
Grand Prix circuit

Length:2.206 Miles // 3.550 km
Direction: Anticlockwise

It makes for a pretty good drifting track too from what I've seen there.

Give me some time, and I could create a track using Dallas City's roadways.

A few turns through the Convention Center, and near the other streets as well.
