Yeah, but I don't want to bother people who aren't interested.

Have them post on your wall or something if they are. I think the PM is the best way. Another thread would be unnecessary imo.

So is everything else made during the time.
Yeah but you don't see people restoring Celebrities now do you. The only vehicles I've seen from the 80s that are popular with restorers are the trucks, muscle and occasional sports car.

I kept forgetting to post this. Worthy of the DYSAGT thread?

Well, I see old trucks fairly often. Not that old, but some of the mid-70's trucks.

Those are hella-good spots dude. They are some of my favorite vehicles and seeing them still on the road makes me very happy. Very good spots. That shouldn't even be a question.

I personally liked it, but I also personally like base-model C6 Corvettes. Old trucks are awesome. I just wasn't sure if that one was old enough to make the cut. Those wheel covers on the back are only on really old trucks though. Any idea on a year?

I'd say anything 1988 and older for trucks are good spots.

That one looks to be early 1970s.
Alright then, I'll keep an eye out for any of the 70's ones. I just assumed since they were so common around here, they were common elsewhere in America. Georgia is full of old trucks.

Up here they are either in the junkyard, in a garage restored somewhere and only come out in the summer or half rotted out and destroyed. Wish mine was still in good shape. :/

All the ones over here are either perfect, or missing the bed (I didn't even know you could take the bed off!) here is a picture of a junked one (It's in the other thread too, just sharing).

Alright, I got a couple that I want opinions on:

9th Gen Pontiac Bonneville. I've seen only 2 so far, but didn't take pics due to not being sure about them. Although, I will say this is actually a Pontiac I rarely see on the road anymore.

Ford Excursion, I know it's been built for 5-6 years and it's another vehicle I rarely see on the roads anymore. I saw one, but didn't take a pic due to not being sure (yeah, I'll take pictures next time).

I see the excursions fairly often (I think, may be expeditions, not sure), but the Pontiac is cool in my opinion.

Not sure about the Pontiac, but I can't imagine the Excursion would be a good spot. I see 2 or 3 every day here and I doubt they're much different in other places.

Old Bonnevilles really aren't noteworthy, but despite being an Excursion fanatic, I wouldn't post them around here either. Cool as hell, but they're not that rare (travel to your local ghetto/countryside to find some lumbering around) and aren't exactly 'special' in the sense that most good spots are.

My uncle had an Excursion which we borrowed to go out west then a few years later he sold it and got the green F250.

This. The Pontiac is cool, I see them every so often. The Excursion is all over the place here, nothing special about them. Literally an F250 with a 5.4L and a bunch of minivan seats. Meh.

Thought the excursion had a V10 diesel?

They had a V10 gasoline option, Ford never made a V10 diesel. The V10 was actually a 5.4L they just tacked on a couple more cylinders too.

The base engine was the 5.4L. Most of them had this.

They also had 2 V8 Powerstroke diesels as an option IIRC.
