I have two spots that I thank are good but might not be.

Chrysler Crossfire:

Civic Hybrid:

The Crossfire would be good if it was an SRT-6, of which that one is not. That Civic isn't actually a hybrid, but rather a very new coupe. Coupes cannot be had in hybrid form. ;)

So uh...attempted to photograph a W123 Mercedes-Benz somethingorother (sounded diesel-y, but I can't tell if it's a 240 or 300D) which turned out like crap.

Not asking about this specific spot, but are W123s in general worth photographing?

Found the Merc today.

...and a random two-tone LS430.

While out today I got a few spots that I either don't know if they're good or not, or I want to know what they are.

Is this a ZL1, or is it possible to tell from this picture? I saw more modified Camaros today than I've ever seen in my life, a few of them questionable modifications thread worthy. (not saying this one is modified, just throwing that out there)

Hyundai Genesis 3.8, is it a good spot or is only the R version good? The driver was a 🤬 head. (Also a Fiat 500L in front. :D)

BMW 325i, any good? Also a Cayenne with awful wheels.
IMG_3245.JPG

Unsure what this is.

Good spot?

Modified base C6 Corvette. Interesting to anyone else?
IMG_3270.JPG

I don't remember what this is, but for some reason I think I remember seeing a "TE" after the numbers. (1st gen Prius behind it, too! :D)

What is this?

God I want it to be above 50 and the snow to be gone so I can start posting/seeing good cars. What happened to that list of cars that @GranTurismo916 was working on?

It depends. Do you live in a place where 4WD is necessity? Then no. If 4WD isn't a necessity, then yes.

Maybe a month out of the year it's helpful, but not really a necessity. I get along fine with RWD but people seem to think 4WD is the only way to go.

Here's 2 from this morning.

Pulled on to a side street to take a pic of this elcamino on my way to class.

1996 impala/caprice? Yes it's lowered.

I would say no to the El Camino, since the mid-late 70s and 80s models aren't that interesting. I don't know about the Impala/Caprice, but my guess would be no.

Ermmm... is this a Seat Leon?

and a MK5 Lincoln, right?

Yes or no in these?

A standard Leon would be a definite no over on these shores or anywhere else in Europe, and an old Cupra wouldn't be much better. I think the fact that someone bothered importing one into the US is more interesting than the car itself.

They sell in Mexico and it has a Mexican plates.

Ah, right. That about kills any interest it could have had then if it's just a case of someone driving over the Texas-Mexico border.

So I got a picture of my friends Buick Reatta, worth posting? I've seen them in the E&S thread but I dunno.

Something just blasted past my house, didn't get a picture, but was wondering if someone could try to ID it off of description.

It was pretty small, but incredibly loud. Old, maybe early to mid-60's or very early 70's. Dark blue with two white racing stripes. Two-seater convertible, and pretty low to the ground.

I know it's hard to ID from a description, but it's bugging me to death, and I want to know what it is when/if I see it again.

Cobra kit car would be a random guess?

It's like asking, guys, whats this car!! Vroom Vrooom...

This is why spots without pictures should never be mentioned.:indiff:

Or what's the song that goes da da da dadada.

But a Cobra? If there's one in my area, that actually went by the house, I need to set up a stakeout .

I'm also thinking Cobra kit from the description. It's likely not a real one, those are very rare, but kit Cobras aren't uncommon.

That looks almost exatly like it. The one I saw was in worse shape though, and seemed smaller. Could be the fact I was in my house and it was about 20 feet away though.

Thanks guys, if it's not real then I don't even care about it.

Perhaps something like this?
ac-cobra-replica-01.jpg

If it lacks the wild flared arches then it'd be a 289 Cobra or Cobra kit, which is pretty unusual. I've seen more real 289 Cobras than 289 kits.

Yeah, I'd have still got a picture, but if it's not real, then meh. I'll be going to some classic car shows in June, and hopefully Caffeine and Octane next Sunday. Maybe it'll show up? That'd be cool.

Opinions on these? Or IDs.

What the hell...
