And this Cadillac that I've never heard of.
If you've heard of the Cadillac CTS, then you've actually (unknowingly) heard of the Catera - CTS stands for Catera Touring Sedan.

Cadillac, for some stupid reason, changed all their historic names to 3 letters about 10-12 yrs ago - STS (Seville Touring Sedan), SLS (Seville Luxury Sedan), ETC (Eldorado Touring Coupe), DTS (Deville Touring Sedan). Now with new names like XTS, ATS, SRX, etc. they aren't an abbreviation of anything anymore, except for the CTS.

Those cateras were terrible also. Basically a cavaleir with a cadillac emblem.
You might be thinking of the Cimmaron, which was a horribly dressed-up Cavalier in the 80s. That was a J-body. The Catera was a rebadged Opel Omega, which is on the V-platform and built in Germany. Probably not a single part shared between the Catera and Cavalier.

Also missed a new Z/28, SS and a Saleen S281 convertible. Maybe be able to get a picture of the Z28 in a little bit.

I'd say upload it, the only ute type vehicle I've seen in a while is an EL Camino. Dodge Rampages and Ford Rancheros are rare for me to find.

I figured it would probably be a good spot but I wasn't sure. I see it quite often but haven't been able to get a picture because I tend to forget about it.

Rare lower-spec models like those are great spots. Moreso for anyone who's never see them before.

I can't say the same for the majority of base model family cars/superminis from the past that have dwindled in numbers in recent years. But there are exceptions, like those two.

Dodge Rampage

Yes! 👍

Maybe be able to get a picture of the Z28 in a little bit.

Get that bitch. 👍

I wonder if you guys would like to see some of the lower spec oldies as well? For examples, this 1978 Volvo 66 and 1981 Autobianchi A112 Elite.

They don't have a high value, but did become rare.

Yes. 👍

After those I saw these.

@Gotbeefboy564 Did you take a picture of every single car you came across today?

I forgot to post these two earlier.

Later 70's Nova, I think. I'm guessing it's not a good spot, but just curious to see what you guys think.

Suzuki Something. I need help with an ID and if it's a good spot or not.

Integra & modded C5 should be in the questionable mods thread.

I'm not sure about the A8 being a good spot, but I know that the Uknown Audi is just an A4, which is nothing special.

No to the lexus, C5 Vette, & Challenger R/T. Only post a Challenger if it's a SRT-8 or better and only post a C5 Vette if it's a Special Edition or Z06.

BMWs; that X5 kinda looks to me like a X5 M, so it maybe good, but I would wait for someone to comfirm that and I'm not sure about the 5 Series GT. It's not that common, but it's also not exactly good.

535GT-no
c5 Z06- yes
no
no
no
Golf GTI- yes

Prowler- yes
Challenger R/T- debatable, I posted one before but it was modded. Because stock, no

Impreza- meh, not a WRX/STi
no

@xXKingJoshXx I would post the Nova. Can't help with the Suzuki but itl ooks awesome.

Wait, what is that fastback/hatchback (slight left of middle) in the Prowler picture?

Looks like a RX7 in the parking lot. Didn't see it until you said something. I was focusing on the Prowler.

What year 911 is this? This was in the back of a porsche dealer.

The 993 was introduced in 1994. That car is what's known as a 911.

Not only wrong, but impossible. :P

911 Carrera 3.2 Targa. Mid-to-late '80s.

Huh... You're right! I remember searching for those and the results were 993... Oh well, probably I am drunk and I didn't notice :P. Everybody makes stupid mistakes once in a while.

I'm a Porsche fan...

As is the marketer's way, XTS clearly stands for XTREME Touring Sedan.

Similarly, the SRX (back when it had a point to exist before it became a lazy Chevy Equinox rebadge) was basically an STS wagon, so the acronym was obviously Seville: Really Xtreme.

I feel like I've asked this before, but is a Saab 900 Turbo 16 Valve (if that part makes any difference) any good?

Does anyone know what this was based off of?
