Does this Chrome Helmet even exist LOL

It appears to be missing of most people accounts.

It does... someone posted an image of it in their purchase history (see pic below)...

I have got the chrome helmet but did not received 1 500 000 credits and safety car pack, I bought Collector edition and It gave me 2 times the same voucher but only one gave me something

I have it via the digital deluxe version. It looks really nice and I equipped it from the beginning. Pretty bad news to hear about all these people missing content, hope it works out.

That was the helmet to buy by the milage exchange for the first week. I was hoping for something special... Oh well.

No, it is not the one that was in the Mileage Exchange. It looks similar.

The Chrome Helmet actually says it's an Arai GP-6 Special Chrome, the one in the Mileage Exchange was listed as Metallic.
 

Sony were apparently aware of the issue with the voucher codes not providing all of the digital contents, now they're passing the blame back on the retailers?

Retailers can't issue replacement codes.

It's not rocket science. PlayStation Support can see it in my account transactions/entitlements that I have everything from the Steelbook except for the Chrome Racing Helmet. Just add the entitlement to my account. Problem solved. Why am I still waiting over a week for this to happen?

Or, better still, they could put the Chrome Helmet on the PSN Store for sale, but if it detects that a user has DLC from the Day One, Steelbook or Collector's Edition, it should appear FREE for them, we click on it, add it to our Purchase History, download it.... Problem solved.

Why is so hard to for SIEE to fix this (and the Rock Band 4 Entitlements, 2 years later we're still missing much of what SIEA and XBOX users have)?

Why are SIEE such morons?

They just don't want to admit they screwed up. But it's not helping there customer relations. I think most know that the retailer isn't to blame with this one. They didn't package the items and give out wrong or missing codes. And it can be an easy fix. I'm still surprised PD can't see an issue with these duplicate cars some have. Kinda makes me think why have online saves? I thought one reason was to make sure there was no tampering or something dodgy going on. But if it isn't sorted soon. Then we might have to go down the 'Product not sold as stated route'.
 
It’s the start of a new week here so I’m hoping this week to maybe here something lol. Forza 7 is going well though and vip update came through. Not interested in GT Sport until the missing content gets fixed. Wish I got that theme, I always like a good theme. :@) Thank you to everyone for sharing. Hope it gets fixed soon for us all.

I actually contacted PlayStation Support in the UK since my case had been escalated to them. They appeared to not know anything about the missing content for GT Sport, but did have my case on file (which they're "still investigating"). I explained everything from scratch, and this time included links to this thread and other forum posts that show it's a common problem.

I'm hoping they fix it... eventually!

Called PlayStation Support here in Australia again yesterday, the guy I spoke to actually knew about cars and other content missing for the game, looked into my case, and added a few more notes to it... hopefully to bump it up the queue.

It's pretty pathetic. They said they'd contact me within 7-10 working days. That never happened.

If anyone on this forum has had their issues fixed or have the Chrome Racing Helmet added to their download list/purchase history, please let us know.

Me too! I am missing mine, figured I would wait for at least one person to have it resolved before seeking support. Maybe I should just try myself...

According to PlayStation Support Australia, Sony rolled out a patch that supposedly fixed the issue.

So, that basically means they thought the problem was solved. Maybe they fixed it for some, but obviously not for everyone.

The more people that call them and tell them it's not fixed, the better.

Their number in Australia is 1300 365 911 (option 3 for PlayStation Network Support).

If you fail to get anywhere with them, the UK has Live Chat via the website, or you can Tweet them on Twitter and they will respond within an hour.

Aussie with the same Collectors Edition issue here, from what they told me it was fixed on the 19th, but it seems it was only fixed for people that redeemed their codes after the 19th (but I still think it's BS, some have said they had the issue after that). Since the 18th I've been getting nowhere with either of EB Games or PSN. EB says they've been told to direct us to PSN, even though they acknowledged to me that under Australian laws it's up to them to fix the issue. I'm getting pretty sick of email after email with no reply, and less than satisfactory treatment with phone calls.

I'll be seriously considering taking it back for a refund and buying a copy from Target for $80 if this keeps going the way it is, might even get to keep the extras that I did get. :sly:

Been there, done that. Many emails and phone calls to PS support, all they say is it's been escalated to the UK office and that I can be assured that someone's working on it. Why they don't just re-issue us with new working codes is beyond me. :banghead:

Yep. Just called PS Support Australia AGAIN (probably the 6th time in the last two weeks). And, got the exact reply as you.

Apparently, they're fixing them on a case by case basis. They're aware of it, and we're basically in a queue to get it fixed.

Or, simply add the missing entitlements (that they can see) to my account, or put the Helmet up on the PSN Store to purchase, and if it detects we own content from the Day One/Limited/Steelbook/Collector's Editions, then it marks it as FREE, we add it to our carts, purchase it, and download it. Problem solved.

EB also told me that when this sort of thing has happened in the past, they received the codes from Sony (PSN) and they emailed them to customers that they new had purchased the game through their EB card (which I did). It doesn't seem to working out like that this time.:grumpy:

Umm why is this here lol Playstation guy told me only digital I’m spinning out. I don’t have psn plus cause I can’t afford at the moment and no use for it lol. Thanks :)

It's definitely Chrome. A lot more shiny than the Metallic one that's available in the Mileage Exchange section of the game.

It should be labelled Arai GP-6 Special Chrome when you select it from Home/Change Driver Gear/Helmets.

The white one is the default Arai Helmet. Same colour as the default Suit.

I have the standard white helmet and another glossy looking white helmet that is labeled special chrome. Although here I notice it's silver chrome... I also have a silver helmet....
 
I got an email this morning as well saying that I've had the 500,000 credit and Dynamic Theme added to my account, but not the chrome helmet...

Oh well, maybe it will show up in the Mileage Exchange.
