There is one of those at our local McLaren dealer, but if I step one foot in the place they'll throw me out again

Why? And why don't I get a local McLaren dealer?

That's horrible! My philosophy is (going into a rant here) that anyone is a potential customer, if not now, then later. If in 20 years you want to buy a McLaren, are you going to buy it from there? I don't think so. I went into the local Porsche dealership in Pittsburgh and the only thing they told me was, "Look but don't touch." I respect these cars more than you do, man! Anyway, whenever I visit my grandmother in Indianapolis, we go visit the Bentley dealership there. The people there are the nicest salespeople I've ever met. Period. A couple of times they've let me back into the service area to see what they've got back there, and I've sat in a Bentley Continental Flying Spur and a Brooklands (coupe version of the Arnage), thanks to their great generosity. if I ever want to buy a Bentley, I'll buy it there. Period. They have me won over, because they were nice to me.

A new McLaren dealership opened it's doors here not so long ago, saying everyone's welcome to come have a look.
I plan on doing that when I'm around, you probably just met someone who had a bad day.

One of 150 ever made. The other reason to go here. The Miura and the F40 are two of my favorite cars and to see them by the first time, separated by a few meters it was one of the best things I ever saw. Also, the Miura is extremely low. The tip of the nose is about 40 cm (or 15 inches) from the floor. I knew it was low, but not THAT low.

Well then it is most likely a genuine Lotus. It's just you do get a lot of replicas that are very hard to tell apart from originals.

Picked up a copy of AutoTrader at a gas station today to find this beauty for sale...
Didn't have a camera on me, so I'll let their ad do the showing...

As soon as I saw it in the magazine, I jumped in the car and drove there (it wasn't too far).

It's a Porsche Carrera Gemballa Mirage GT, and it was absolutely stunning. I didn't ask for a test drive, though I wasn't sure if I wanted one

That's nothing. Legendary Motorcar in Milton Ont. has the #14 of 14 Pagani Zonda R for sale. The only one with a gloss finish over the carbon and the only one with black wheels instead of gold wheels....
