Porsche Cayman

And i've posted this XKRS before.

Garage wasn't open today so I couldn't get any pictures of the owners cars. But the only thing new there that I hadn't posted was a Ferrari California which was in the back.

DAT XJS.

Never really bothered to upload these pics, but they are from the 2012 Carmel Artomobilia here in Indiana. It was on August 25th. I hope the link works, it's to an album on photobucket, because there are about 115 pictures. There might be a duplicate or two in there, I tried to get them all but I am short on time.

Well, here it is: http://photobucket.com/albums/q728/xXKingJoshXx

Great pics, thanks for sharing! The 2010 Trans-Am confused me, did a quick Google and still not sure if it's a prototype or based off something else?

It's based off of a Camaro SS. It was made by a company here in Indy and they made 3 of them. 550hp. Here's a close up of the spec sheet.

It says automatic on it, but there was another spec sheet on the other side of the car saying it had a 6 speed manual. Didn't check to see what transmission this particular one had.

Edit: here's another show I never bothered to upload.

I don't think this link is working... I didn't upload it right.

Right. So I'm going past the-only-in-Poland Ferrari dealership, just like every morning (God I love that it doesn't get any bit boring for me). Noticed a change. Red 458 Spider disappeared. There was a black FF in its place and a red FF in the black one's original place. 'Hey, what is standing in the place red FF had earlier then...?'

My jaw legitimately dropped.

...the worst thing is - the dealership is relatively easily accessible I think (unless they let in only people actually interested in buying, that is). Apparently, a simple call at the door is enough to get inside.

But even if I get in, taking pictures and filming is not allowed there, so it's VERY likely I won't be able to catch a glimpse of dat @$$ :C

Also, I'm wondering how unlucky I was about the arrival of this baby. It arrived in the dealership from Friday to Monday, that's for sure. I finished my classes at 1:30 PM on Friday and went to the dealership right away to see if there was anything interesting, to find nothing.

Maybe the chairman's gonna know, I saw him at least three times in the past two weeks which is a tad out of ordinary I think; after I got his autograph in March I haven't seen him once, except from what I just mentioned.

Yes I did! :D

The man we're talking about is Dante Cinque. Apart from his job in the dealership, he's also the editor-in-chef of my favorite car magazine, "V12".

Once upon a time, I shot a video of a Ferrari 458 Italia accelerating. Before I started filming, there were two guys talking next to it. One of them was Cinque (which I realized a bit too late). I asked them if I can "do my job" with the phone. The taller gentleman replied with Italian accent "100 Euro and go ahead". After a short moment of laugh, both of them kindly allowed me to film the car. I shot the video and set out towards the setting sun.

Right after I shut down the camera in my phone, I realize who I just met. That Italian accent, how could I not recognize it? After coming back home, I went on the Interwebs and searched for the first issue of "V12". Bought it.

After it was delivered to my flat, I was carrying it with me for at least a month until I finally met Cinque again and asked him to sign it.

This is the car next to which he was standing before signing the magazine:

The mag (yes, it's 288 pages) and the signature:

In Italian, the signature says:
"A Arek con simpatia, Dante Cinque"
"For (To) Arek with sympathy"
Yes, that's my real name. Short for Arkadiusz.
I'm sorry.

You know before you told me that story, I thought, "this guy is properly sad".

Now I understand the background, it's awesome. What a cool story!

Can I just ask? "With sympathy"? What does that mean?

Also I AM NOT being sarcastic. I genuinely mean it, cool story.

I just made a terrible translating mistake, that's what it means :D In Polish and Italian, words (correspondingly) "sympatia" and "simpatia" mean "a poaitive, friendly attitude towards someone". I made one hell of a direct translation there :D "False friends" got their name for a reason...
