Was at an Italian car show today, the weather kinda sucked so there wasn't that many cars but there was some neat cars.

First a Fiat Barchetta. Interesting car, wonder how you get your hands on something like this.

My second C6 427 Corvette

Volvo is a P1800.

Mustang is definitely not a GT350, notchback is the most obvious giveaway.

EDIT: MG is a Midget T series, probably a TC or TD. đź‘Ť

@ xXKingJoshXx Niether of those cars are "Bel Air's"? The top picture and the car you "sat in"? Both are FORDS:lol:

Bel Air's are Chevrolets.:sly:

Lovely cell phone pics though. Thanks for sharing.

Decided to drop by the local car festival yesterday (9th) as it was a great event last year and well worth the day out, especially to watch the hill climbs and sprints. It's run over 2 days (Saturday and Sunday) - Saturday had great weather but Sunday was just awful. See if you can guess which day I decided to go on.

Anyway, highlight for me was this. If you're going to own a fully stripped down, tuned and widened E-type V12...

...you might as well have it street legal! đź‘Ť

 Beautiful! Didn't recognise it as an E-Type at first, it's so aggressive

TD, definitely.

 Yea I'm always getting the Bel Airs and Fairlanes (I think they're Fairlanes) mixed up. I at least got the first one changed before I read your comment

Supposed to be going to the drag strip tomorrow so I hope I can get some decent pictures =P

Awesome event that must have been!

I saw this Lotus Exige V6 Cup. One of only a handful (about 25 maybe?) in the United States and can only be used on the track. Saw it at Lime Rock Park.

I love how the new Exige tries to look like a tiny hypercar :D It just looks so bad@$$ despite being so small!

Well, don't normally go to shows/etc looking for cars... but it's a great weather day, Fathers Day weekend, there was a car show nearby, and Cars & Coffee in the morning, and I just got my very own Fairlady, Z31, on Tuesday, so what the heck.

Cars and Coffee was pretty great
Spyker C8 Spyder

CGT!

California

Murcielago

458

ACR Convertible!!!!!

and another ACR

both together

2013 Viper!!!!!

Lingenfelter Z06

CTS-V Wagon

E30 M3!!!

Ariel Atom!!!

and all the photos I took/posted are of cars I've never seen in the wild. (CTS-V yes, but not Wagon, Z06 yes, but not Lingenfelter, etc.)

and at the local car show, mostly classics, found the Pro Street Opel GT sitting still (I've posted it to the regular DYSAGT thread,) so I took a couple shots of it.

^Daaaayyuuuuuuuum!

I'll try this again, with another event I squeezed in that day before work. Tuner Mayhem at Bandimere Speedway. I'm a huge Honda nerd but am sure most of you don't care about clean CRXs, so I'll skip the more 'mundane' stuff.

*ED. - lol, still no. Linky

@ Jeff

That California is an Elise. Typing quickly I suppose :)

And I didn't know they made an ACR convertible. Time to do research.

Edit: 50 ACR convertibles were made!!

Had California on it a couple of times, so I thought it might be a special edition Elise?

Checking.... yes, 2008 Special Edition, not sure how it's special, but only 50 (!) were made, 25 in red and 25 in yellow.

Edit
Based on USA Elise with touring pack. Rear body spoiler. Silver front intake grilles, other grilles in body colour. 16-spoke cast wheels in Hi-power silver, AD07 tyres. Lotus roundel and California decals on front wings. Sports seats in cream & red or black leather. Other trim in cream & red or black leather. Hardtop lining in Beige cloth. RHD footwell divider.

so, just trim stuff and a body spoiler and some creature comforts for long rides.

Here are some of my shots from the Strøjer collection on the special Le Mans-themed day. The star of the show was the (Group C2) URD, which was the first wholly Danish-owned car to finish the 24 Heures du Mans. The three people who raced the car were reunited with each other and the car itself after more than 25 years since they raced it in la Sarthe, and we were treated to the sound of its wonderful BMW M1 engine.
