and this guy made me laugh, don't see these any more

Chevette ..... :lol::lol::lol:
Just when you thought that these had all been crushed and transformed into some new generation car ......

I hated these cars, but I have to give it a đź‘Ť for being a survivor.

Daihatsu Charade GTti. I wouldn't normally mention something like this if this particular model wasn't such a rare sight here. It even had some rally pedigree in the UK a couple of decades back.

Where did you see the cooper?

Found a group of MINIs parked next to each other outside a McDonald's in town earlier today. That GP probably came from a Shrewsbury dealership according to the sticker on the side.

The other day at work I got to see this beautiful blue 1967 Mustang.
390 under the hood.

Wow! Congratulations! You might inherit this beauty!

I doubt it, he usually only keeps cars for a year or two then sells it for something else. Would be pretty cool though! :P

Sweeeet! Is he going to convert it to a TR8? The old Rover 3.5 V8 was used here but I gather you guys often use something with a little more power on top of that :)

I don't think so, he said he plans on putting as little money into it as possible. Just gonna fix it up a bit and drive it.

My dad's newest car. I knew he brought it home by all the spluttering I heard outside.

Triumph TR7
by ilikewaffles11, on Flickr

Used to have one of these. It was the second car I ever owned, bought it in 1991 for ÂŁ200 when I was 17, my first full restoration project. I ran it for about 5 months after restoration before selling for a ÂŁ2600 profit. It was one beauty I'll never forget.

That's awesome! I love the look of the TR7. I know it's a little early, but are you and your dad thinking of bringing it to Carlisle in May? They're going to be highlighting British cars.

I don't think so, I would imagine he's taking his Alltrac Celica again. Though if I have my license, and don't own anything worth really showing, maybe he'll let me take it down. So we'll see how it all works out.

Yummy. 390 FE's are amazing engines. Nice spot.
Thanks. I knew you would like it haha.

That thing is SPECTACULAR, I've always wanted a '67-'69 fastback

Yeah that is my favorite of the fastback style. I hope the pictures came out good because that blue paint was so clean on that car.

You bet lol. Doesn't it amaze you that's how that car looked when it was new?

The rims are off a 1969 however, unless they are 1969 reproductions.

Only a thousand MC40 Minis were made! Saw it last night at a show, wasn't able to get a picture of it due to traffic. Was so happy to come across it again today.

I'm sure Doog knows that's not a stock Bentley, he's just saying he doesn't know anything more about it.

And yeah, amazing spot, I love orange, and it's seasonally appropriate, too!

But also, echoing Cano, love seeing any car from GT2, Elan Sprint!

and mine for today, pulled into Half Price Books next door to work, freaking immaculate... 1955?

Yeah, I see a lot of 50's Chevy's, at least 100 a year, so I don't get too excited usually. But this is one of the few that had me staring, and looking for the owner to give him a big thumbs up.
