I thought all Exiges had the rear wing and the coupe-like back?

S1 Exiges are very similar in appearance to S1 Motorsport Elises. The differences are very minor, mostly to do with track-preppedness (fuel cell, cutoffs, various deletes in the interior, I think an adjustable wing was seen on some Motorsport cars). I'm guessing what we see here is an Exige, though.

Nice Europa up there too, one of my favorite vintage cars.

A compendium of the past few days... (When my phone worked)...

1993 Volkswagen Fox GL Coupe: One of my favorite Vee-Dubs, rarely seen, and strangely worth a lot of money with VW Enthusiests...

A couple of Corvettes, two C4s and a C5...

A nice Mustang as I was waiting to turn into the Meijer parkway...

This one was odd: I haven't seen a Stratus with a wing like this before, so my first thought was that rare R/T model that had a bunch of high-performance crap thrown underneath it, but then I got to thinking, and I assumed that it was just an option box that was checked at the MOPAR dealer... They aren't what I know, so someone else is going to have to tell me...

...Yeah, sorry about the Porsche 911 Turbo photo. Oh, and yesterday, there was a cab with the meter running that passed me from Chicago, O'Hare. Like three and a half hours away, Chicago, O'Hare. Wow.

The Stratus RT is running an aftermarket spoiler - nothing special there, although seeing an RT is special, sort of, since they were pretty rare.

Did the O'Hare cab have Illinois plates?

turbo lag
Is that a Mustang i see?

Yes, but a six-cylinder...

Oh yes. And you could see the meter lit up on the dashboard to. My eyes weren't good enough to read the price, but the red numbers were certainly there.

...After the amount of money he would have paid for that, he should have just bought a plane ticket...

Incredible - THAT would've won you the 'out of place' category!!

Saw this on the M1 on the way up to UKGTP7:

Thanks to Sureshot for taking the picture, 'cos I was driving.

Oh, and after looking at that Stratus it reminded me of a picture I took before I went to eat. I caught this bad maamajamma in the parking lot.

Not a great shot because of the sun ,but its a GMC denali truck, damn rare:

And next is a camry wagon, not sure on the rareness though:

One more thing, I saw a new mustang in the drive though at in and out burger that had "CE edition" on the back gas cap. It this rare at all? worth a mention I guess

California Edition? I think YSSMAN posted one a page or so back, apparently pretty rare if thats what it was.

yeah, the CE is the California Edition. There would have been a big stripe down the side that would have said GT/CS, for GT/California Special. They called the CS the CE in the literature at the dealers, I think...

I drove beside a Porsche Carrera GT on the highway for a while before he got off. Those cars looks better in person than in pictures.

I agree. I've seen two in person, and they were both quite beautiful. The first was silver, sitting in the back of the dealer getting worked on, the second was a black car that pulled up next to mine at a stop light a while ago...

...The thing I noticed, more than the looks, was the sound. My God is that a beautiful noise that it produces...

About the CS/CE thing. I saw a V6 Mustang CE. It was downtown and I thought it was pretty odd that it didnt have a V8.

I saw a lamborghini Gallardo downtown today:)

My buddy got to sit in it while I took a picture of him in it lol

EDIT GO TO MY NEXT POST FOR THE PICTURES

Boo cos I didn't get a photo, but I saw a luminous green Lamborghini Diablo pass me today that had the same body as the VT Roadster (including clear flush lights, rear brake cooling intakes and spoiler) but had a fixed roof. I can't find a picture of it on the internet.

This body (but with a roof)

In this colour (EXACTLY how it appears here)

EDIT: I also saw a black Ferrari 360 CS. (Other than the big white stripes) I know it was a real Stradale as it had dealer plates as it's illegal to register a left-hand drive here as a private car. Many of the celebs who drive F50s, Enzos, etc. can only keep them at the dealers. I have seen many red and yellow CS 360s here in Hong Kong, but I thought the black one must be quite a rare spot. Anyone got any ideas on numbers produced?

Yes (well atleast my area...). Ive only seen about 5 Mustangs in my whole life (Of ANY trim level or model. :dopey: )

Wow you serious? There is plenty of them here (old ones mid to late 60's). Not all that common but not all that rare either.

yeah it was infront of the rogers center...

And thats my friends civic in the background:)

He loves lambos so we had to stop and take pictures:tup:

The pics I posted above weren't working so I updated the new links and added 1 extra picture...
