m5 im pretty sure thats the same c5/c1 bastard ive seen at the new england gran prix... it hahd the same wheels and iirc the tag was something like that

Hey Arkangel - that's a pretty cool coincidence - the one I'm referring to is white with Colorado plates - with the same number!! Which one did you see, land sea air?

*McLaren*
My eye-sight must be going. Doug, that's a SE, isn't it?

Looks to me like a Nera - for comparison here are my Nera shots from this January:

His shot has the characteristic black wheels plus the white interior - the absolute giveaway would be the carbon fiber triangluar portions of the hood which you can't see in his photo, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Ah - I believe it is an SE - the wheels certainly say that - but it's hard to see on the darker colored cars since the main giveaway is the darker top panels. Not even sure if that's an SE color. LOC plates - check their inventory, maybe it's still listed, regardless of whether it's an SE.

Lotus Elise (no stickers so I guess it's not an Exige), Legnum VR-4 and Evo V, Ferrari 550 Maranello (super-loud exhaust!)

Also took some shots yesterday but I'll post them when I get home. In the mean time is there such thing as a Brabus 6.5 (last gen S-Class)??

They didn't modify the Seven, they just made a car inspired by it.

Caterham (who bought the rights to make the Seven) threatened legal action a while back because they were so similar.

No they copied several other older Lotuses (Loti?) including the Eleven and I'm pretty sure the Six as well, the flared wheel arches and general mean-ness made me wonder if they made a Europa too, but its probably just some model I don't know about. Usually its difficult to tell if you're looking at a Westfield or an actual Lotus, unlike Caterham which are usually more modern looking.

Just want to bump this in case anyone has an answer to my question...

^^^ Not sure. sorry :nervous:

So.. we were driving down North road when i saw this. My dad was like 'look behind!' and i was like OMG i and went crazy.

Not sure whether replica or not but it sounded and looked awesome

Can anyone tell whether or not mine's a replica or REAL?!!?!?!?!

As has been said in this and other threads - there are so many Cobra replicas out there and with the originals being so rare and exclusive, it probably is a replica. There is a Melbourne based company called Robnell that builds these replicas for a bit over $100,000. I found an Aussie Cob replica register here maybe you can put the reg. number in and have a look (I hope you got lucky and found an original!)...

Yesterday: Maserati Ghibli (Cup?) and this Brabus S-Class '6.5' (which I have no idea is a genuine Brabus car or simply a badge job)

Did You See Anything Good Today?

You tell me...

This will NOT be 56k friendly. Photobucket frowns upon thumbnails.

Day started off innocently enough, with a sportastic Peugeot.
DSCF0091.jpg

Then came 2 different approaches at beauty.
DSCF0094.jpg

Then an American invasion. Not pretty, but very imposing.
DSCF0097.jpg

Then a Eunos Roadster. Unsual for an MX-5 to be imported here since they're so cheap already.
DSCF0098.jpg

Then my first 207CC
DSCF0085.jpg

And my first Focus CC
DSCF0103.jpg

Then a new Mondeo
DSCF0104.jpg

And a Gallardo
DSCF0105.jpg

Now I know dealership pictures are frowned upon, but I couldn't pass this up.

Not often that I feel poverty-stricken in the car stakes. No prizes for finding our car, left outside like a dog.

Yes - that would be a true Brabus conversion. Rare and somewhat expensive.

I thought all Exiges had the rear wing and the coupe-like back?

ultrabeat, I'm jealous. The new Mondeo spot was fantastic.

Have I mentioned how much I like the new Mondeo?

I was extremely disappointed seeing it in the metal.

It's really just the Iosis concept watered down so as not to offend 30-something family man.

Yes, but compare the Mondeo to what we have in the US in the same slot...

RightFront.jpg

...I think its pretty easy to understand why I like the Mondeo more...

(Have I mentioned that I'm beginning to get sick of the 'Red, White, and Bold' design theme? It isn't bad on the Fusion here, but the new Focus is hideous...)

---

I've got shots from the past few days, I'll get around to posting them in a bit...

When ImageShack decides to work, I'll post up some pictures I took at a classic car show from Sunday.
