I dont know where you live Casio, but isnt that a V35 skyline? aka G35? They started making those in 2001

I live in Australia. We never got that model as far as I'm aware.

Got this today, although I thought I had an AMG a couple of days ago, and it turned out to be just a badge, can anyone tell if this is real? I'm also thinking, the GP plates mean it may have been used for offical F1 duties.

Brabus is just a tuner - any E-class can be a Brabus E-class. All you have to do is get something minor and order a badge. True 'Brabus' cars would never have an 'E500' badge - they'd have 'Exx' and a liter output next to it, but true Brabus cars are really rare outside of Germany (I've seen one - a G-class). So yes, it's an E-class tuned by Brabus, but that's not saying too much.

Could someone fill me in on what makes the CSi's so special? As I have always wondered why about what they are and the such. I am a little, okay a lot behind, on my BMW history. Or could you all provide me with some links that you use to sites that have a history of such cars? Etc.?

BMW's only ever made two supercars, the M1 and the Z8. No one has ever actually seen an M1 (450 [?] made), and the Z8 is relatively common. The closest BMW came to making a supercar after the M1 (until the Z8 which came out in '00) was the 850CSi which had - gasp - a manual and a V-12. It was still a pig though. Anyway, it's over a decade old and there are only like half as many 850CSis as Z8s, so it's crazily rare, even in comparison to the Z8, which most people rarely glimpse (I see them everywhere in Denver - never understood why people made such a big deal out of seeing them - I've been in Atlanta eight months and I've seen one - and you know the kind of stuff I see down here - not sure what Denver's obsession with them is, but they are rare, it seems). That sounded rambly, which it was, because I'm wired due to studying for my finals.

I wish there were sites that provided the information I had in my head.

We don't have Infiniti in Australia (Yet) and they never sold the V35 Skyline here either. So now we are starting to see them more often coming in as grey imports.

I don't see to many of these, but I found one at a local grocery store today.

If the laws of physics have to apply to the 3000GT, they certainly have to apply to the 8-series.

Caught sight of this the other day at the garage at the top end of my parents village where I'm staying this week, and happened to have my camera handy! :D
LHD in England, and has trade plates on! Was funny to see what must have been the delivery driver reading the drivers manual to try and figure out how to get the petrol tank open! :dunce:

Nice spot Smallhorses 👍

Here is what i saw today.....

M3

jetta GLI

CL55

760Li

993 Carrera4

I also saw a CL65 which can be seen on the top left corner of the GLI pic. Most expensive car ive seen today but my crappy camera ran out of batteries so i was not able to take a pic of it. It was quite frustrating to see such a beauty and going home without a pic.

Another improper park job....

Conti GT, I don't see many of them around here, especially in a handicapped parking space.

I think we need to make some kind of experiment.

Can Porsche owners park correctly at all?

Well the professor in college seemed to park his 996 Carrera S well enough today. That is after he drove up the college drive and past the onslaught of rugby balls, footballs and frisbees.

Brave man.

Most professors aren't full time teachers, they have day jobs and do teaching on the side (TA's end up doing the better part of the teaching anyways), and if you're high up at a pharamceuticals corporation, you can probably be driving a pretty fancy carriage.

My teachers have some kick ass cars.

Teachers at my school have a Saleen 3 Valve, a Pontiac Solstice GXP, several Mustangs.

HAHAHA typo.

Anyway, your college professor has a 911? The best my school can muster is a Boxster and 2 MX-5s.
One of my comprehensive teachers drove a 630Ci. That's after she had a 7 series, and she wasn't on that much money.

The fact is, smart people usually have smart partners, and if one is a fairly low-payed professor you can guarantee the other is rolling in cash.

Couple decent spots tonight.

Ferrari 360 Modena, guy kept trying to race my buddies Firebird Formula, we got on it a few time but backed off around 90. The Formula kept with it decently well.

sorry if you are being sarcastic (its hard to tell on these darn internets) but that looks like a Caterham seven of some variety, possibly with lotus badges but I couldn't tell. If that is an actual Lotus seven (which I seriously doubt it is) then it's an even better spot than the already cool caterham.

I honestly don't have any idea. But it had a Lotus badge on the front of it and it was at a place that deals in really rare high end cars. They have all sorts of things, last week they had two Atoms.

Very rare. I have my doubts it is real, but I don't know a lot about of original Lotus 7's.

Brave man.

The vice president of my university has a 997 911 C4 Cabriolet. The president has a pair of Priuses.

Ahaha, I've beaten all of you. My teachers have a bunch of new BMW X3s and X5s, and at least 4 Audi A4s and A6's.

Now I know that's nothing special, but one of my teachers is Alan Haskvitz. He works for a publication of his family's called 'The Car Family', and I've seen him driving a Lamborghini Murcielago, a Bentley Arnage, and he's going to get a Honda FCX in a few months.

Gahhh! I hate it when my RAZR poops-out on me!

I would post photos, but I'm saving them for a day in which I care to dismantle my phone to take them off of it...

Story:

I'm heading to work this afternoon, taking my usual route (Northbound East Beltline). As I sit at a stoplight, I notice a white Porsche over in a parking lot just off the road, and I do the usual thing in which I stare at it a moment trying to decipher what model it is. We take off, and without a good view, I continue to stare at it, and then it hits me...

"Thats a Turbo!"

After accelerating fairly quickly to the "Michigan Speed Limit" (ie 65 in a 55), I immediately slam on the brakes to turn into the lot, and proceed to park near the car for a quick photo (I was a bit later than I like for work...). Anyway, I take the photo in a hurry, turn the car around, and head for work. Once there, I attempt to review the photo... AND ITS GONE!

Gah! Stupid technology. I mean, I know I've seen the 997 Turbo many times before, but this one was different... I rarely ever see them in white, much less with the yellow-brake kit. Plus, it was parked in front of a Granite dealer.

Oh well. Some other time...
