The SL guy works at AutoEurope, a car importer on Woodward Ave.

Here is the same (blurry) car from April 21st in the same location.

A few good spots today:

Hey! Its one of them there Capri things! This photo is just filled with crap-tastic American cars...

They were all parked outside of my Mom's office today. They all belong to the Doctors she works for. However, one peaked my interest:

I liked the old Z3 M. They looked pretty cool and performed pretty well. Granted, the Corvette was better for the money, but still a cool little car...

Pontiac Solstice GXP, I believe...

Some decent spots today, first time actually taking pictures of them. Best I could do in the backseat of a car. None of them are expensive at all just some uncommon cars.

Audi S4 - I thought I was seeing a RS4 for a second but alas it was only a S4 but still a beauty anyway. 👍

Mercedes-Benz S550 (I think?) - Was just gazing out side my window as cars merged into the street after getting off the freeway and it caught my eye and snapped a picture.

2009 Ford F-250(?) - All I can say is... wow they have changed.

Sorry for the blurry, grainy pictures. My first time actually trying to snap pictures of cars. On top of that I was an idiot and had it set at 0.3MP instead of 4MP so that's why the pictures are crappy quality. The blurriness was my fault though. And yeah, these cars are nothing compared to what some people are posting but where I live that's near as good as it gets. :indiff: I also saw a Catera, older A4, and an Edge but figured it wasn't worth posting.

4 door Jetta GLI from germany. Outside my HS on a rally night. sweet.

SRT Charger. Outside In&Out. Illuminated by my friends 32v Northstar STS.

Not just a regular SRT Charger, but an '06 Charger Daytona. They're supposed to come in an orange color, but it's impossible to find any pictures excluding the car's press release of the orange and the yellow models.

I saw that bimmer again (Proper word now?), and it's a 1502. Dunno how rare they are, but I reckon the 1502 is quite old - early '60s, late '70s, according to Googled pages. I'll get a picture tomorrow, since it's parked there forever, just where an old Peugeot 404 used to stand.

S65 AMG...mmmmm bi-turboed V-12.

n38505333_31258585_5351.jpg

Thats still sex on wheels. I don't care how "exclusive" your Rolls-Royce or Bentley may be, I'd take the Benz over the other two any day just for the engine and the outrageous performance. When this thing is knocking on slushbox Corvette's doors in the straight-line, thats kinda scary. Its a damn shame they don't ship them uncorked so we can shoot for 200 MPH...

What was really funny is a guy and his wife got out of the car and then took two kids from the back that were in child seats. I was impressed that they used it as a family sedan.

right then.

As i said my work experience guys (Ontime Automotive) have a contract with mercedes to store mclaren SLR'S and Maybachs. As it was my last day the pre delivery inspection manager decided to take me upto the warehouse where these cars are kept. We got in a citroen and begain our journey, we turned onto a road which had a farm at the end of it. Why were we going to a farm? We parked up and in one of the sheet steel barns i could see Cars with various shapes covered by sheets!

We walked in and my heart stopped. Sitting dormant were TEN maybach 62's and 57's. I hadnt expected that much! The I turn to the other side of the barn type building and the silver sleek low shape I see is..... A jaguar XJ220.oh god. There were lots of cars used in this barn. including: A BRISTOL 2 LITRE!!!:embarrassed:

anyway here are the pictures.
one of 3 SLR's

This is a fairmont somthing or other, Ill edit post and find the name in a second or two:wierd car.
.

Ill get the vids up on the 'tube and put them here shortly.

That car with the flames next to the SLR is awesome !

But really, sweet pictures man!

Has a XJ220 been spotted in this thread before? I cannot imagine too many of them being seen as there was only 281 made.

Today, I saw a Lincoln Mark LT. I had never seen one before and was not all that particularly interested in this one, as I do not much care for trucks. Still neat to see something you have not seen before though.

Wow! Some rareties there! I posted an XJ220 that I saw in the window of a Jaguar dealer here in Hong Kong last year.

It must be something to stand and gaze at an XJ220.

Is that little flamey thing the Bristol 2.0l? What a weird little car.

no, it's the green sloped back one. Bristols are extremely rare cars. They are not included in video games and no media company is allowed to review them. They strongly addvise their customers to oblige, but I've heard that one was reviewed in EVO once?

I still cant get my head around those cars, especially the xj220 being kept in a random barn where I frequently drive past. It has very high tech security systems and all that stuff. Please note that only the slr's and Maybach's belonged to ontime, the rest were other people renting a spot in the barn. Understandably I cannot give any more information on the whereabouts of the farm so please dont ask.

.
an someone Identify this? I know the badge said somthing like faimont and the secdond name was somthing begining with C. Is it a concept car or somthing?
👍

Yep, I posted a pic last year in november.
Saw a Jaguar XK-R convertible (supercharged). Sorry no photo.

unless you mean that you saw an xj220 and you saw an xk recently, you are seriously confused

EDIT: you fixed it thanks

i had a go in this last night :D a tad fast you could say.has been fitted with the lambo sport exhaust which bypasses the cats, had a sore head afterwards from my head banging against the top of the seat and firewall from the gearchanges  gallardo still felt faster though.

Breaking in my new 7.1 MP camera:
'Vette C5:

What is clearly the best car ever, and the very reason Saab put so much effort into redesigning the 9-5:

I lol'ed:

Suzuki X-90:

Rebadged Suzuki, similar to the X-90 but 70000% better:

Yet another W Body car better than the DeVille:

What is clearly the convertible with the most downforce known to man:

And, finally, for those who enjoyed the Aerocoupe from my last spotting trip, here is a Hurst Olds (A.K.A. a car that actually deserves to be in this thread):

Caught this a day or so back...

...I don't care what anyone says, the Bel-Air is by far the best looking American car, second only to the C2 Corvette Stingray...

BTW: This one is a '55. By far one of the best examples I've seen in a while. I'm looking forward to the Summer Car-Show season...

Hey all - sorry I haven't been too active here lately - been really busy! Here are some of my recent spots:

silver_seraph-052307-3.jpg

Rolls Royce Silver Seraph - this is the Bentley Arnage's Rolls twin and thus one of the last Rolls products prior to the BMW buyout - this one is significantly rarer than the Arnage with just under 1,300 made. Temporary plates out of a local Jaguar-Porsche dealer.

polo-052307-2.jpg

polo-052307.jpg

Volkswagen Polo sedan running plates from Durango, a Mexican state with 1.5 million inhabitants about 1,500 miles from Denver. Pretty cool spot - my first Polo sighting.

gran_sport-052407.jpg

Maserati GranSport Spyder. Still just a Maserati.

328_gts-052407-2.jpg

Ferrari 328 GTB.

london_taxi-052407.jpg

London Taxi. No plates. No idea what the deal is on this one. Extremely tall - taller than I had remembered from visiting London.

esprit-052507.jpg

Lotus Esprit V8. Apologies for the poor picture, Toronado.

360_spider-052507.jpg

Ferrari 360 Spider.

348_gts-052607.jpg

Ferrari 348 GTS.

Also (not worthy of a photo in this post):
- Acura NSX
- Bentley Continental GT
- Bentley Flying Spur
- Ford Mustang GT/CS
- Jaguar XKE
- Lotus Elise
- Maserati Coupe

Enjoy!
