Volkswagen Polo sedan running plates from Durango, a Mexican state with 1.5 million inhabitants about 1,500 miles from Denver. Pretty cool spot - my first Polo sighting.

This has got to be a lift-kit. I see Polos every day, but I never met one this high. They're not exactly asphalt-hugging speeders, but no SUV, either.

Polo Sedan, though - those are kinda rare, since it's one of the "pointless" cars - the low-level Jetta is in the same price-range. Kind like a Renault Clio Sedan.

Nice spots everyone and thanks to whoever gave me +rep for the securty barn post with the message 'top post, mate :)'

Who was it ? :\

;)

I bet you'll eventually see more SRT10 Coupes than you will Polos. Unless you vacation to Mexico.

And the NSX is teh win.

So, 2? :D

I've seen six Viper GTS models, which is the prior generation SRT-10 Coupe, plus a GTS-ACR, which is intensely rare - I know I'll eventually see an SRT-10 Coupe, but that I haven't yet is embarrassing.

It just seems to me like the type of rich guy who gets chauffeured around in his Brooklands isn't going to be the type to bear swamp-ass in his chauffer, the Viper.

But if I had that money I'd buy a Brooklands so I could drive it my damn self.

Well, I could have had a brand-new Jaguar XKR Convertible for today's shots, but my camera couldn't turn on fast enough while I was waiting in line for Ice Cream. Crap...

Anyway:

Just a nice Cadillac XLR. Too bad they don't have a more-powerful V8 option these days. The little Northstar just doesn't seem to be enough anymore... Still, it looks nice and surely sounded nice as well.

Gah, wish I had my camera today, I saw a newer black Pontiac GTO! In Ontario Canada, had New Jersey Plates and had Holden badges aswell as a holden front bumper! Pretty cool to see a car that isn't brought here...

Love the black 328 GTB Doug. It looks so good for it's age, especially with those wheels. And the E-Type is gorgeous. Good spots as usual!

What if you don't!
;)

No chance - they're simply too inexpensive and production numbers are too high for me never to see one.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe due to depreciation that you could probably get two Brooklands for the price of an SRT-10 Coupe.

EDIT: the Brooklands is averaging $47,000 on the used market right now, so the above statement is basically true.

Yes - both cars are very strong for their age, the XKE being just all-around beautiful. Thanks! 👍

Today's spots...

v8_vantage-052707.jpg

Aston-Martin V8 Vantage.

coupe-052707.jpg

Maserati Coupe.

gt500-052707.jpg

Shelby GT500. Presumably this one's a fake - weren't all Shelby Mustangs fastback?

Yes, I believe all GT500s were fastbacks, and indeed had unique faces on the front as well.

...Therefore, that has to be one of the worst GT500 clones, ever...

EDIT: I believe all GT350s were fastbacks as well. I don't think Shelby ever did any otherwise, outside of the convertible GT500s, which were no-backs... (ha ha)

Today...

arnage-052807-2.jpg

arnage-052807-1.jpg

Bentley Arnage. I believe this is an Arnage T, but far be it from me to make guesses about the differences between vehicles which have zero distinguishing characteristics.

integra_type_r-052807.jpg

Acura Integra Type R. Very Fred.

coupe-052807.jpg

Maserati Coupe. Third one in five days - also the third one in this color in five days - I hold a great disdain for the commonality of these things.

It could be an old Arnage T since only they came with side lights next to the headlights, but they normally came with these 5-spoke rims.

To tell the difference on the '07s, the Arnage T features a small vent right behind the front tires.
You can see it here.

You'll see the Arnage T also has 2 small air-intake holes opposed to the other 2 such as this R.

In the R and RL, the only difference is that the RL is a more limousine-type model with the L standing for longer wheelbase.
The R:

The RL:

You'd have to see both side-by-side to tell which, but if you can tell the difference between the Maybach 57 and 62 based on their lengths, it shouldn't be too hard to tell on the Arnage R and RL.

Continental GT. Its not worthy of posting where Doug lives but it is here

At first, i thought it was a GT3, but its just a 997 4S with aero and rims added

RalliArt Galant... I've never seen one of these...errrr actually I've never seen a newer Galant come to think of it.

I've seen Mulliner Arnages with similar wheels to those, though obviously not the same ones. As most car people probably could, I can tell the difference between a regular-length Arnage and an RL; to this day I've never seen an RL, despite seventeen unique Arnage sightings (including two Arnage Mulliners).

Are the air intake holes a consistent difference? i.e. - have they always distinguished the T from the R, or are they relatively new? Because that's really the only difference I'm seeing.

Good spot - I've seen just one RalliArt Galant, which sucks because I actually think they're pretty competent cars. Thanks for the photo! 👍
